Players have been highly anticipating Destiny 3 for a long time, but the developer has never stated anything about the game or whether it is actually under development. Recently, after all the hopes were shattered, fans showed their creativity and made a poster to assume what it could be if Destiny 3 really came.
Destiny 2 Fans Are Not Ready to Give up on Hopes to Get Destiny 3
After a years-long wait and speculations about Destiny 3, it is now almost confirmed that the next major installment in the Destiny series isn’t coming, as Bungie is reportedly not working on it. In recent times, Bungie laid off around 220 people, and following that, it was reportedly revealed that the developer is not working on Destiny 3.
Many employees of the company revealed that Bungie will probably focus on bringing major and small updates to Destiny 2, but it has no plans to develop a new major installment of the game. Instead, it has other plans.

However, fans are not ready to accept this fact easily. They may not get Destiny 3 in reality, but there are no boundaries to the imagination, and by using it, Destiny Bulletin made a unique X post. The post stated that in a different universe after they fought the battle with The Witness in The Final Shape, the credit scene would come with a new announcement: “Your destiny lies beyond this system. Destiny 3 is coming.”
This indeed sounds exciting, but surprisingly, players got divided into teams to share their opinions about the release of Destiny 3.
Destiny Fans Don’t Seem Unanimously Agreed to the Idea of Destiny 3
Destiny 2 fans have been waiting for Destiny 3, and the news of no new installment has disappointed most of them. Therefore, this creative idea got praise.
