Destiny 2’s latest expansion, The Final Shape, has added multiple new pieces of content to the game. Destiny games are never simple, and the latest DLC has made things a lot more complicated, even for regular players. So, newcomers looking for some help in finding items in the game is something normal, and Visions of the Traveler should be among them. They are connected to the core of the story. 

Weapons are one of the most important parts of the game, and most importantly, the Exotic Weapons. The Final Shape has brought a new list of Exotic weapons, and they can be accessed in different ways. Among these Exotic Weapons, players will get the Exotic version of the fan-favorite rifle Khvostov. This weapon requires players to find all the Visions of the Traveler. The Pale Heart is full of secrets. As soon as you start exploring the region, you will realize mysteries are all around the location, and the Visions of the Traveler are among them. These are one of the most troublesome to locate, primarily because they are not marked on the map. So, players need to find a way to spot all eight Visions of the Traveler.

This task is more challenging than it sounds. Until you get close to these objects, there’s no way to know their locations. To make it a bit simpler, we have listed all the Visions of the Traveler locations in the game:

Vision of the Traveler 1: The Lost City

Let’s begin the search with the easiest one. First, appear in the Lost City Transmat Zone and make your way to the old Vanguard office. There you will find the Micah-10 set up. Make your way through the hole on the left to come outside. Progress toward the right side until you see a red platform. Behind it will be a waterfall. Jump into the waterfall, and the first Vision of the Traveler will be found in the middle of it.

Vision of the Traveler 2: The Landing

The next and nearest Vision of the Traveler to find is in The Landing. This is another easy one to find. Once you are at the location, make your way to the fast-travel point of The Landing. Locate the Transmat Zone, and just behind it, you will find a waterfall. Jump down into it, and you will get the second Vision of the Traveler. 

Vision of the Traveler 3: The Refraction

To get the next one, we recommend players visit The Refraction. This one is a bit tricky to get. Once you arrive, start exploring the area, and eventually, you will find a spot where a Shrieker is waiting to attack. First, take it down to clear your way, and then start progressing forward. You will soon reach a water body, and the Vision of the Traveler will be found on the water.

Vision of the Traveler 4: The Divide

This one is again easy to locate. Though it requires some traveling, this Vision of the Traveler won’t give you a hard time finding it. To begin the process, start climbing the mountain, and eventually, you will find the entrance to the mountain. Once there, look behind toward the satellites, and you will see the Vision of the Traveler stuck there.

Vision of the Traveler 5: The Blooming

The next Vision of the Traveler to find is in The Blooming. Once you are in The Blooming, you have to spot an entrance, which will lead you to The Seclusion. After you spot it, climb the tree, and you have to reach the top to locate the Vision of the Traveler. It will be found on the topmost branches.

Vision of the Traveler 6: The Seclusion

The sixth Vision of the Traveler is probably the trickiest one to find. This has some criteria for getting your hands on it. The first thing you need to do is complete the Alone in the Dark quest. It will unlock the Slayer Cyst. The second thing to do is to kill the Ogre boss at the end of the Cyst.

Once you meet both criteria, you will see a way opening behind the Ogre boss. Follow the path, and it will take you to the Vision of the Traveler. 

Vision of the Traveler 7: The Impasse

This is probably one of the simplest ones to locate. However, it is a bit tricky. Though it stays in front of your eyes, if you are not aware of the location, you may miss it. So, as soon as you appear, look for the stone buildings. Don’t go inside these buildings; instead, look at the top of the stone pillar, and you will find the Vision of the Traveler on the top of the pillar.

Vision of the Traveler 8: The Transgression

This is the final area to visit, and the Vision of the Traveler will be found almost at the end of the area. To begin with this process, enter the Transgression and start progressing forward. Once you reach almost the end of the area, you will locate a dead tree. Go near the tree, and you will see the Vision of the Traveler hidden behind it.

These are all the Visions of the Traveler in The Final Shape Destiny 2. Once all these are collected, bring them to the Speaker’s room in The Lost City and place them on the respective podiums. If they are placed correctly, a Golden Chest will appear, rewarding you with the Exotic version of Khvostov. However, opening the chest requires players to gather all the Motes of Light and earn the Mote of Primordial Light. Otherwise, the Golden Chest won’t be opened.
