Elden Ring‘s features are strongly influencing other franchises that apparently have no connection to FromSoftware or Elden Ring. What Hidetaka Miyazaki has created is now becoming an example for other game directors, and even TV show directors are following his steps. A recent instance makes things clearer when The Acolyte joins this queue.

The Acolyte is part of the Star Wars franchise and is set before the events of the Skywalker Saga and follows the Jedi investigations into a series of crimes. A recent update reveals the latest The Acolyte installment will bring an Elden Ring feature.

Elden Ring Features Received Immeasurable Popularity That The Acolyte Designed Its Main Antagonist in a Similar Way

The appearance of The Stranger, Qimir, has surprised The Acolyte fans in the fifth episode of the series.

Since the fifth episode of The Acolyte aired, the fact that the show makers have made Qimir, the main villain of the series, an armorless Sith has become the top discussion topic for the fans. This sudden thing has made them curious about the intentions of the franchise. While nothing was particularly stated about that previously, in her recent interview with Inverse, the showrunner, Leslye Headland, specifically mentioned her thoughts behind it.

In her statement, she shared that she didn’t want Qimir to be a villain who used his suit as a defense. Instead, he needs to know how to use his body for his defense. To make this idea a reality, she used her Elden Ring experience of summoning Spirit Ashes and expressed,

It’s like the Elden Ring costume. The Elden Bling. When you summon people, you always summon the people that aren’t wearing anything.”

Though her proposal initially shocked her team members, they eventually agreed to it. Of course, like Tarnished, Qimir doesn’t go for the fights without any clothes, but his fighting style and aggressiveness again resemble Elden Ring boss fights. About that, Headland said,

Yeah, you have to go in with that offensive attitude, especially with those bosses. You can’t be getting back and panic rolling. You have to be aggressive with them. You have to roll into things.”

She further elaborated on her thoughts and events of the show to make the audience more curious about the upcoming incidents.

Leslye Headland confirmed that the second half of the show will get more lightsabers to become more intense.

Since this show started, it has been getting mixed reactions from fans and critics. However, Season 1 of the show has already covered more than half of its journey, and at this point, its creator has revealed some secrets and her thoughts on the incidents going on.

The show creator revealed that in the next episodes of the show, fans will see more lightsabers as the second half of the series is going to be full of action. So, naturally, this part is going to be darker. However, there’s even an emotional part as well.

About going toward the climax of the series, Headland mentioned that it’s time to begin the journey toward the end of the season with all the people and events already on board. In the second half, they will make moves to go toward an endgame. So, the second half will be a lot more emotional.

As a Star Wars fan, you probably don’t want to miss this. So, keep watching the episodes as they release, but sometimes take a break and check out for other gaming updates, like how The First Descendant has been achieving popularity beyond expectations or Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s Preorder Bonus Character has created controversy among fans.
