The roguelike ARPG Hades 2 has been an instant hit with gamers since its release this month. Developed and published by Supergiant Games, the game’s dungeon-crawler-like mechanics and aesthetics have attracted the attention of gamers all over the world. Like any role-playing game, players will be required to grind a lot to upgrade their character with weapons and skills.

In Hades 2 players will need to craft new Incantations to run easier in the in-game world. An important resource for crafting Incantations is Marble. In this guide, we will explain everything you need to know about Marble and how to get them in Hades 2.

Marble: The Essential Resource in Hades 2

There are different kinds of items found in the world of Hades 2 which are very useful while progressing through the game. One such item is Marble which can be acquired as you venture on your journey throughout the Underworld.

Players will be able to find marble in Tartarus, the fourth biome in Hades 2. Tartarus can be reached by passing through Erebus, Oceanus, and the Fields of the Mourning. Before heading for Tartarus make sure to unlock some of the useful incantations in the game. This will help in preserving your health and you will be able to progress further in the game without dying.

Another way to progress easily is by playing the game in God mode. By playing in this mode you will be able to withstand the lethal attacks of Hecate, Scylla, and Infernal Cerebrus. Now to find Marble, first reach Tartarus, once you are there look for Chronos bust statues in ash-white color. Use the Crescent Pick on these statues to get marble items. Explore the entire region thoroughly for white sculptures so that you don’t miss out on any Marble.

Reaching Tartarus will consume a good amount of your time and energy. After reaching here you will be able to find Marble statues around the area. Smash the busts in the area with your Crescent Pick to collect the Marble they are carved out of. In Tartarus, one or two statues keep appearing every night. Make sure to keep your eyes on them so you don’t miss them.

Marble helps in unlocking some of the mid-to-late game incantations, such as the Golden Lifespring. By unlocking this you will be able to restore your health in the Tartarus biome. To activate the Golden Lifespring Incantation you must have 3x Shaderot and 3x Marble. All the materials can be found in Tartarus.

Marble proves very useful when you will have to unlock the Greater Favor of Gaia. This is one of the best incantations in the game since it allows you to upgrade all gathering tools. In the game, Marble will prove useful once again while upgrading an important Arcana card called The Boatman. This card will give you more gold in the beginning and you will need 18 Moon Dust items along with 10 Marble to upgrade it.
