Crafting plays a vital role in rogue-like RPGs, and Hades 2 is not an exception to this tradition. With numerous resources to collect, this game features a vast, dungeon-based world to explore. The more players progress through the game and explore dungeons, the more they will find enemies to slay and resources to collect. Interestingly, each resource comes with its own specific use in the game. Bronze also has its own particular collecting place and use.

No matter how busy you are fighting enemies, take advantage of resources in Hades 2, or things will get tricky. Specifically, when it comes to a tough resource like Bronze. Unlocking locations to collect Bronze requires hours of grinding. Therefore, if you haven’t yet acquired Bronze in Hades 2, we are here to help you with the locations and use of the resource.

Where to Find Bronze in Hades 2

Permeation of Witching-Wards Incantation should be performed in Hades 2 to access the Surface and start looking for Bronze.

Crafting materials are required at every step of the game, especially after players have progressed to a certain distance. Hades 2 has numerous crafting materials to collect, but only a few of them probably give players a hard time, like Bronze. For example, if you have been searching the underworld for Bronze, you are just wasting your time and effort, as Bronze can only be found on the Surface. The only location where players can find Bronze is the City of Ephyra, the first city on the Surface

The Surface is a region that requires a lot of playing time where players need to run through the underworld, fight enemies, and complete activities to finally enable the power of crafting incantations. To access the Surface, players need to perform the Permeation of Witching-Wards Incantation. To perform this incantation, players need to submit 1x Cinder, 1x Shadow, and 3x Moly to the cauldron in the Crossroads. Doing this will destroy the magical ward blocking players access to the Surface.

Once you are on the Surface, Bronze can be found randomly here and there. It has a chance to spawn at every level. So, it is based on your luck whether you get this material early in the game or roam for hours to get it. However, you can’t mine Bronze with any tool. It requires you to carry the Crescent Pick. So, ensure you have this gathering tool before you start searching for Bronze.

Follow the arrow in the image to find similar debris on the Surface to mine Bronze from there.

While roaming on the Surface, carefully look for the brownish debris and mine them with the Crescent Pick to get Bronze. But there’s a catch. You can’t breathe normally there for a long time. So, if you find the material early, it’s fine; otherwise, you must learn and perform a second incantation named Unraveling a Fateful Bond Incantation. This one requires you to use 2x Lotus, 2x Moss, 2x Nightshade, and 2x Thalamus.

This second spell will allow players to breathe naturally on the Surface. Once you perform the spell, you can now freely explore the Surface without any worries. Now that you have gathered Bronze, the next vital thing to know is what items to craft using it.

The Aspect of Melinoë is a powerful weapon aspect, but until players have enough Bronze, they can’t craft it in Hades 2.

Crafting materials never go to waste in Hades 2. Each of them has something to do with the game, and Bronze is one of the most important among these crafting materials, as it is required to craft fishing rods, weapons, and a few incantations. To be more specific, if you want to craft a Fishing Rod, you need to gather 1x Bronze and 2x Fate Fabric

Apart from this, one of the powerful weapons available in the early access of the game, named Argent Skull, can be crafted using Bronze. This weapon requires 1x Bronze and 2x Glassrock. Even a few incantations and weapon aspects require Bronze, including Aspect of Night and Darkness Incantation, which requires 5 Bronze, Aspect of Moros needs 2 Bronze, and Aspect of Melinoë needs 1 Bronze.
