The latest PS5 title Stellar Blade is now available to play worldwide. The action-adventure title from Sony Interactive Entertainment has received widespread acclaim since the release of its demo version.

After the global release, new players are coming in huge numbers to play the game but there are certain gameplay concepts that players are finding hard to understand. One such concept is the Point Of No Return where the players receive a notification while proceeding to play a mission called Orcal’s Testimony.

What is the Point Of No Return

Stellar Blade is a vast game with lots of content. The game includes 13 Main Missions, 32 Side Missions, and 21 Bulletin Board Missions. All these missions are extremely fun and exciting to play since the gameplay employs elements of large-scale battles mixed with hack-and-slash action.

Players will be able to progress through the game by finishing one mission after the other while completing the side quests. Since the game’s release on April 26, one of the talked about aspects is the Point Of No Return. In this guide we have explained the Point Of No Return in detail and what players should remember when they come across this message while playing the game.

The Point Of No Return Is Displayed During the Orcal’s Testimony Mission

Players will encounter the Point Of No Return during a mission called the Orcal’s Testimony. In this mission, players will be tasked with traveling to the Orbit Elevator at Spire 4. At this point, a warning will be displayed on your screens. Playing as the game’s protagonist Eve, you will meet a character named Adam before heading for the Orbit Elevator. As soon as Eve starts talking with Adam a message will be displayed on the screen saying:

“If you head to the Orbit Elevator now, you can no longer proceed with any side missions, and travelling to other areas will be restricted. Continue?”

An in-game notification will be displayed on your screens

This is a warning message which tells players that this mission will lock them out of side content in the game. If players ignore this message and continue then they will be locked out of the missions in Xion which in turn will prevent you from accessing all the remaining side missions in the game.

According to this message, players won’t be able to finish any remaining objectives later on. However, the game will allow you to travel to other locations once you have completed Spire 4, you will be locked out of these locations. Therefore, players must decide before heading into Spire 4 whether they will want to leave out all the side quests in the game.

As with other gamers, the Point of No Return in Stellar Blade is as it’s described, a point of no return. It’ll lock in the rest of your playthrough, so if players still want to go further then we suggest that they save their progress on the PS Plus cloud before heading for the Orbit Elevator. In this way, players won’t have to start from scratch if they decide to come back and finish all the side quests.
