Recently, he stated that in the upcoming weekend Showcase event, Xbox is going to confirm the existence of this long-rumored console.

The development of this portable hardware device has long been assumed, especially after Microsoft’s confirmation that it’s working on a new console. Though the specifications haven’t yet been stated, players expect that this handheld console will be able to run all the Xbox games, along with the games on Xbox Game Pass.

Xbox Has Planned a Grand Showcase Event This Weekend With Potential Shadow Drop of a First-Party Title

The reveal of the portable device is indeed the biggest surprise to give, but that’s not the only one the Microsoft team has prepared for the Xbox players. It has planned for something larger. The same leaker, in his other YouTube video, talked about Xbox dropping a first-party title as a shadow drop. 

The leaker confirmed that a title that everyone is eagerly expecting to see will be shadow-dropped at the event, which means Microsoft will stealthily show off the game and release it on the very day.

Though he claimed to know which game it is and mentioned titles like Flight Simulator, Avowed, Diablo DLC, Starfield DLC, Towerborne, etc., he didn’t mention the exact name. That’s probably to maintain the suspense and excitement among the players.

Except for Towerborne, all other titles mentioned in the list have been set to be released in the latter part of the year.
