However, some renowned websites and media houses hinted at Switch 2 coming in 2025. A few days back in February, a renowned Brazilian journalist Pedro Henrique Lutti Lippe also claimed that Nintendo Switch has been internally delayed and will come in 2025. Anyway, this delay may not affect the reveal of the next-gen console as Lippe confirmed in his latest post that the Japanese gaming giant will probably reveal their new console in June 2024.

Lippe Revealed the Upcoming Nintendo Direct Event Starting Time

Like every other gaming platform, Nintendo Switch also has a customized event where Nintendo shows the upcoming big release on Switch. This year one Nintendo Direct event has already happened in February, named, Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase. About the next one, Lippe revealed, it will come in April. He wrote in the post, “Here’s what I’ve heard post-Friday: Direct in April (general or mini, dunno)….”

The announcement seems to be a bold one as a Nintendo Direct general-purpose live stream hasn’t happened in the last few years.
