Stellar Blade Gets New Mode, Suits, and More in Update 1.003
Eve can now rock some new fits to take on whichever boss she wants.
A few days before its one-month anniversary, Shift Up announced that it will be launching a big update for Stellar Blade, as Patch 1.003 brings plenty of new content to keep players engaged until the developer releases some sort of DLC or expansion for its action-adventure title.
For those gamers who absolutely loved the wide range of boss fights that the base game initially offered, the latest patch should come as a welcome addition, as it brings a brand new mode that focuses solely on the most memorable antagonists who stand in Eve’s path towards saving humanity. That is not the only fresh content that has made its way to Stellar Blade, as a couple of new suits have also been added to the game.
Boss Battle Enthusiasts Will Likely Appreciate the Latest Stellar Blade Patch
There are a total of nineteen boss fights in Stellar Blade, and since they are easily responsible for some of the greatest and most interesting bits in the game, it makes complete sense for Shift Up to bring them to the forefront with the new update.
The variations that come with these major boss battles are what set them apart, as they range from massive Naytiba to some familiar faces, and with the inclusion of the new Boss Challenge mode, players can pick and choose to relive a specific fight without the need to replay through the entire game.
SUGGESTED: All Wasteland Can Locations in Stellar Blade
Of course, it goes without saying that players will not be able to access those fights in the mode that they have not yet won during the main story, as their data will only make their way to Boss Challenge if they have been defeated at least once.
Players who are looking to take on the Stellar Blade bosses on Hard difficulty should note that the Boss Challenge mode only allows that once the game’s story has been fully completed and they have witnessed the ending.
The Update Also Brings New Suits and Improves Some Other Aspects
The dedicated Stellar Blade players who complete the Boss Challenge mode and defeat all the bosses on Normal difficulty or higher will receive a new outfit called the Neurolink Suit as proof of their triumph.
SUGGESTED: All Spire 4 Can Locations in Stellar Blade
In addition to that reward suit, Shift Up has also added two other Nano Suits called the White and Black Kunoichi, and considering that Stellar Blade already has an impressive number of outfits for Eve to wear, these inclusions are the cherries on top.
The developer has also teased surprise Nano Suits that players can only find while playing the game.
All of these new elements are accompanied by some quality-of-life improvements, like the option of permanently setting the compass on the game’s HUD. Update 1.003 launched on May 24.
