Starfield has been at the top of the discussion list since Bethesda announced the upcoming DLC for the game. The base game was released on September 6, 2023, and within one year, the developer announced the first DLC, Shattered Space. Though the release date hasn’t yet been disclosed, players are assuming it will probably come soon.

Assumptions maintain no boundaries, and players have been assuming a lot about Shattered Space since they heard about the DLC. Precisely, the official trailer has increased the hype. Though Bethesda never stated anything officially, the latest SteamDB update has triggered speculation about the DLC coming really soon.

Starfield Fans Are Excited to Get Shattered Space as Soon as Possible

Starfield fans are once again excited about the upcoming Shattered Space expansion after a sudden update.

Starfield was one of the best-selling games of 2023, and despite encountering mixed reviews from players and critics, the player engagement with the game was solid. With a Metacritic score of 6.8, this game has created a strong player base that is curiously expecting the expansion.

Until now, Bethesda has revealed nothing about the release, but a recent SteamDB update shed some light on it; at least that’s what players think. On August 7, fans noticed that on SteamDB, a new Branch called Orange appeared in the Starfield changelist.

Most importantly, the Starfield subreddit received this post because players got confused about it. Though nothing particularly has been revealed about this new Branch or what it means, this has made players curious about the update.

Giving it a closer look reveals that this new Orange Branch doesn’t contain anything new. There’s no hint of it being a part of Shattered Space. The update only contains the word “Depot” a few times, which is more puzzling for the fans.

However, assumptions have been going wild since this thing came to light. Fans are trying to figure out what this SteamDB update is hinting at.

Starfield’s Upcoming Update or New Vehicles: Which Is Coming Sooner?

Players assume that the Starfield vehicles will come fast, as the SteamDB update indicates.

Regular Starfield players are probably aware that, aside from the Shattered Space DLC, the base game is about to get new vehicles, and Bethesda hasn’t yet shared any updates on when they will be added to the game. Therefore, the assumption of players is going in different directions since they have seen the SteamDB update.

Most players are confused about it and asking for clarification on what that update means.

Some players are giving the “Depot” the most importance, and according to them, it must be some kind of update, but they are unable to tell what it is.

Players are even assuming that those builds were dropped on Steam for internal testing.

However, most players are assuming that it was all about the vehicles, as according to them, they will come before the DLC.

Well, no one knows what the original reason behind this is.

Therefore, everyone is sharing their speculations to figure out the logic behind this action.

Anyway, without an official update, nothing will be clarified, so, in the meantime, don’t miss another attractive Starfield feature that you may have missed until now.
