Having the player’s character from another universe or a previous playthrough join them on a new trek through Starfield’s elaborate, constantly changing narrative could be a great idea for Bethesda to implement in future updates, as it would immensely enhance the title’s replay value, which is already excellent to begin with.

It could also create the scope for some truly unique interactions among Starfield’s cast of characters and add wrinkles to the story in New Game+ that competitors would find quite hard to imitate.

For now, Starfield players are going to have to rely on the game’s highly creative modding community to deliver on any new ideas they might have for the game.
