Space Marine 2 players have prepared a wishlist that includes all the features that should be in the game.

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is the sequel to the 2011 game Space Marine. While initially, the game was revealed during The Game Awards 2021, it took three years for Saber Interactive to release the game officially. But when it came, it justified why it took so long to be made. It created a new milestone for Saber Interactive.

Since the release, the developers have been working on making the game better. The last update brought two attractive and promised in-game features, but there are still a few features that players think the game must include to be a potent Game of the Year contender.

Recently, on Reddit, a player posted a list of features that should be in the game. Expectedly, it includes three highly demanded classes: Apothecary Class, Chaplain Class, and Tech Marine Class, along with a number of weapons, like Gravity Guns, Missile Launchers, Shotguns, and Lightning Claws.

Aside from that, as the Reddit user Torphala mentioned, he additionally wants Saber Interactive to bring auto-mute mode in the game and crossplay in PvP. The game has crossplay in PvE, but players don’t find it sufficient.

With all these features included, the game will reach a far improved state where the GotY award will become a more prominent possibility.

Space Marine 2 won’t probably get the PvPvE mode ever in the future.

As the roadmap of Space Marine 2 revealed, the game will bring more interesting features in the upcoming seasons. However, although Saber Interactive hasn’t ever mentioned bringing PvPvE, players have been willing to get this in-game mode as it seems to be a great fit.

Before this demand got further, the game director, Dmitry Grigorenko, put a stop to all these speculations. During his recent interview, he opined that PvPvE is the “holy grail of game design.”

According to him,

A lot of studios are trying to find it, and a lot of them fail. The truth is that it’s a very, very difficult task. It sounds great on paper, but when you actually start trying, it becomes apparent that it’s very annoying when you fight other players only to get backstabbed by an AI opponent.”

To conclude his statement, he revealed that Saber Interactive has no plans to bring any PvPvE mode in Space Marine 2 in the future.
