Space Marine 2 Faces a Helldiver 2-esque Problemn It Needs to Fix Straight Away
Space Marine 2's beyond-expectation success can't hide some issues that players want Saber Interactive to fix to make the game more enjoyable.
- Since Space Marine 2 was launched, gamers are praising the game and speculating about the upcoming DLC.
- However, amidst this success, there are a few issues that have been bothering a group of players, and they want these to be solved quickly.
- As Space Marine 2 has created the demand for Warhammer 40K games, Darktide is also going to get an update soon.
Space Marine 2 was the highest-hyped game of the year, and its journey was pretty smooth up to a point. However, recently, this game has taken a twisting turn, which seems pretty familiar to Helldivers 2. After a few days’ run, Space Marine 2 players also started pointing out issues that should be fixed immediately to maintain the immense fanbase.
Regardless of the efforts a developer team puts into making a game, there must be some issues that will bother players after the release. Almost every game goes through this situation, and Space Marine 2 is no exception. A few points players have highlighted that should be taken care of as soon as possible.
Space Marine 2 Is Following Helldivers 2 Soon After Its Global Launch
Helldivers 2 is another massively successful game released earlier this year. Arrowhead worked on it for seven years, and initially, the game was getting high praise from fans. However, soon the situation turned and players started criticizing the game for multiple reasons.
Saber Interactive seems to walk on the same path. After its release, Space Marine 2 players were entirely satisfied with what they had received. Even speculations regarding a sequel are on the air already. Soon, the tables turned and players started pointing out issues.
Recently, on Reddit, SpotTheReallyBigCat has highlighted a few issues that according to him are ruining the Eternal War mode of the game.
He highlighted that the game must unlock all the war gear at the beginning; otherwise, players who grind more are getting unfair advantages if these weapons and equipment unlock through grinding.
Next, he continued his argument and highlighted one of the most demanded things: more customization for Chaos Marines.
Finally, he found the class system completely baseless in Eternal War mode, a complete fighting mode where killing is the only way to survive. He finds classes are not balanced, as some are more powerful than others.
Well, for most players, these are not even issues. They opined these are general rules in every multiplayer game.
After Space Marine 2’s Huge Success, Another Warhammer 40K Series Game Is About to Get Update After Years
Honestly, Space Marine 2 has changed the entire graph of the Warhammer 40K series. The hype and the popularity this game has received clearly indicate there’s a huge demand for these games in the market, at least at this point.
While there is no news of any DLC or sequel coming to the latest installment, Warhammer 40K: Darktide is going to get some fresh content, two years after its initial launch.
Around three weeks back, the community manager shared an update on the FatsharkStrawHat forum, announcing that Warhammer 40K: Darktide is about to get a new update on September 26.
This post revealed the new update will let players get new weapons as they clear their path and progress. Once acquired, these weapons can also be mastered over time. Aside from those new missions and, most interestingly, the matchmaking.
Once this update comes, players will then choose to team up with others based on language, difficulty, mission focus, etc. These will probably make the groups more balanced than before.
