The boss encounters in Blox Fruits are among its hardest challenges in many cases, as many of them come with unique weapons, attacks, and mechanics that can tilt the odds in their favor. This is especially true of encounters where your character finds themselves lacking in terms of their Player Level. However, the Awakened Ice Admiral can pose a challenge even if you meet the 1400 Level requirement to fight him as an equal.

The Awakened Ice Admiral may dress similarly to his Level 700 counterpart who fell to your character in the First Sea. Located in the Second Sea’s Ice Castle, this beefed-up version of the Ice Admiral brings a whole new set of attacks in an expanded arsenal that utilizes Ice to devastating effect at all ranges.

You may want to bring Fruits like Light along to let you dodge quickly out of the way of his attacks, letting you gain the space you need to launch counterattacks and whittle away at his massive health bar. It could also be a good idea to meet the Frost Quest Giver NPC on the castle’s island to pick up a quest that rewards you for taking the Awakened Ice Admiral down.

The Awakened Ice Admiral can deal with you at either close or long range, meaning that you need to stay vigilant against any attacks coming your way. Stray too far away from him, and you risk facing his Ice Spears that he can hurl at you to constantly keep you on the back foot. Dodge to the left or right to avoid them, aiming some quick long-range attacks of your own at him while you do so.

The next of his attacks to watch out for is when you try to close the gap for some melee strikes. He creates an area-of-effect Ice Surge in front of him that can knock you back while dealing tons of damage. It can be a good idea to get in close and bait out this attack to dodge behind the Admiral and unleash your best attacks to get an edge in this fight.

However, don’t get too comfortable in close quarters as the Awakened Ice Admiral’s deadliest attack comes in the form of a massive ground slam that freezes the area around him – including anyone unfortunate enough to be caught in the blast. This opens you up to his melee attacks that can deal a ton of damage if you are unable to dodge them.

Adopting a hit-and-run playstyle against the Awakened Ice Admiral as you avoid the worst of his attacks should bring him down fairly easily, netting you 45,000,000 EXP and $20,000 along with a chance to drop either the Library Key or Hidden Key as bonus rewards.
