The Red Dead Redemption port is now confirmed as the latest leak came to light.

Currently, the most hyped Rockstar game that everyone is waiting for is GTA 6, and whether this game will face further delay or not is always in the air. While all the speculations are centered around GTA 6, Rockstar seems to be working on another surprise for PC players.

Earlier on September 17, Tez2 spotted that metadata for the game was included in Rockstar’s own PC launcher. Most importantly, the leaked data suggests some data was also added to Steam. The leaker shared this update on his X handle to bring it to light.

Well, the SteamDB page link he shared has no name for now. At the time of writing, it is titled “Unknown 2668510.

This backend data doesn’t state any further update than confirming the arrival of Red Dead Redemption on PC. Previous hints from Rockstar Games and this leak combinedly confirmed the game’s arrival; it’s just that Rockstar needs to declare the release date and other necessary updates.

With this game’s appearance on PC, both Red Dead Redemption games will be available on PC to enjoy.

Red Dead Redemption Fans Reacted Strangely After the PC Release Gets Confirmed

The PC port news does not excite PC players much as most of them are eagerly waiting for GTA 6.

Red Dead Redemption is a massively successful game with an 8.9 Metacritic score. Console players loved this game. While Rockstar never considered bringing this game on PC for the last 14 years, the gradually increasing popularity of PC gaming has forced them to bring it on PC to expand popularity.

Since the news surfaced, gamers started reacting weirdly. A group of them are happy and eagerly looking forward to getting the game.

However, some are not happy to purchase a decade-old game on Steam.

Even a few of them are more interested in getting Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare than the base game.

These reactions are pretty confusing, as gamers have been divided into groups to state their opinions. However, one thing that is relaxing about the upcoming PC port of the game is that it will probably not be exclusive to the Rockstar launcher, and players will probably get the game on Steam.

Well, these details are still uncertain, and until an official announcement comes, they can’t be confirmed.
