Subscription services are one of the major ways for players to experience some of the renowned titles without spending lots of money purchasing them. Almost all the subscription services work similarly where players can spend a little amount to purchase the subscription and enjoy renowned titles without any worries. However, there’s a different side of it as well, where big developer companies refuse to launch their games on subscription services, but what PlayStation Plus is about to experience is the worst.

Recently, Sony has updated their PlayStation Plus’s Last Chance To Play page, and it seems a lot of games are going to leave the PS Plus service, including a massively popular franchise. Expectedly, players are again dissatisfied with this leaving.

Subscription services often encounter this scenario where games leave the platform. However, 25 games leaving together is something new, certainly, Final Fantasy is not the only series leaving the PS Plus Service on May 21; several other titles are going to follow the same path. They may not be as popular as the Square Enix titles, still, their leaving will impact the service. This list includes:

  • Abzu
  • Adr1ft
  • How to Survive 2
  • The Artful Escape
