“Now it’s a game for kids?”: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s Season 4 Reloaded is Getting Roasted After 1 Gamemode Looks Like Minecraft
Playlist Modifiers often come to Call of Duty games. However, check out the reason why the upcoming one is getting severe mockery.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is getting more colorful and exciting. The popularity of Modern Warfare 3 is beyond question, and fans always wait for new updates to experience something new in the game. However, not every update pleases them. Sometimes, Activision goes through rough criticism from the players for the content they bring to Modern Warfare 3.
Activision introducing new game modes to COD games is something expected. However, the problem starts when these game modes don’t match the expectations of players. A recent scenario elaborated on this instance where players start mocking Activision for introducing a new game mode to Modern Warfare 3.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 Reloaded Has Brought a New Game Mode That Players Don’t Find Fit for a Game Played by Mature Gamers
The mid-season update is ready to be launched in Modern Warfare 3 with the Bit Party playlist modifier event. This event is going to give several maps a new look, including one of the classic Call of Duty maps, Favela, which is renamed Bitvela. This playlist modifier can be the most exciting one for its general differences from other playlist modifiers, but the problem starts as soon as the look of the game mode is shared.
The images circulating on Twitter (currently X) show the vibrant and colorful world, little, funny characters, and the blue sky filled with puffy white clouds, which gives off a vibe of Minecraft rather than Call of Duty. Modern Warfare 3 fans never expected this from the developers in a serious and intense game like this. So, this initial reaction is pretty disappointing for Activision.
After seeing the glimpse of the world the Bit Party event is going to bring, a fan commented, “Now it’s a game for kids?”
Another fan following the same tone said, COD once used to be a game for mature players.
Fans don’t even hesitate to call this game mode “garbage.”
Again, someone followed the same path and said, “That looks horrible.”
Though, fans don’t seem to be happy with the game mode, it has some exciting and unique features.
Bit Party Will take Players to a Roblox World With Some Interesting Features That COD Fans Haven’t Experienced Before
Unlike other Modern Warfare 3 playlist modifiers, Bit Party is not associated with killstreaks. Instead, this game mode is coming with a retro-themed event named Retro Warfare Event, which will add new missions to the game. However, the unique part about this one is that players will get a bigger head as they start killing enemies in-game. The more enemies they eliminate, the more their head size will start getting bigger.
However, having a big head helps you earn points and complete missions, but they are easy targets for enemies. Therefore, if you get shot and die, you will return to the regular head size, until the process repeats.
The head size will have three variants: small, medium, and large. The bigger your head will be, the more chances you will have to get shot by enemies. Reportedly, the points you get by killing enemies with a bigger head will differ in different game modes. For example, Team Deathmatch will give you the most points for killing opponents with a bigger head.
There will be a lot of other exciting things that players shouldn’t miss that the upcoming playlist modifier is going to bring. Even a new bundle will be added to the shop for Call of Duty‘s Task Force 141 members.
However, whether this new retro event and playlist modifier finally win the hearts of the players or not should be revealed once they officially come to the game. A little wait is still left to see if once again Activision has nailed it with this playlist modifier.
