“No one has figured out how to open it”: Stellar Blade DLC or Lazy Development? Some Fans Think They’ve Uncovered the Former
Stellar Blade's mysteries are still on after three months of its official release.
Stellar Blade was one of the most-hyped games of 2024, more specifically because of the controversies it had created before its official launch. Though these controversies could’ve impacted the game negatively, Shift Up managed to turn them into positive curiosity and receive massive success.
The vast world of Stellar Blade has loads of secrets to explore and mysteries to solve. Eve has to run around every region sequentially to find things out; there are still a few things that players haven’t yet accessed, even after three months. These have generated the idea of an upcoming DLC.
Stellar Blade Has Mysteries That, Even After Three Months, Remain Unsolved
Stellar Blade has a massive world with loads of mysteries that block Eve’s path every now and then. Most importantly, there are multiple gates and doors that are initially locked, and players need to solve attached puzzles to open those secret areas. That’s a common thing to do at every step, but a few doors are locked to date, and there’s no way players can open them.
Recently, Lance McDonald has taken this thing to X (formerly Twitter) and posted a clip of a locked door with the caption that this locked door is not yet unlockable. He mentioned that this mysterious locked door is located in Matrix 11, just outside the survivor safehouse.
Reportedly, it is possible to interact with the door, but there’s no puzzle attached to it to solve. Upon interacting with the door, Eve can examine it, and Adam says, “The drone’s hacking level is not high enough.”
Well, this locked door has generated the concept of a DLC. Fans assume that an expansion will probably come, and then Eve will be able to open the door and access the content inside. However, Shift Up hasn’t shared any updates on making a DLC. Instead, it has brought a new set of summer costumes for Eve to give her a unique look.
Shift Up Confirms That Players Need to Wait a Little More Before They Get the Photo Mode
Stellar Blade has exceptionally good visuals that players can’t ignore to praise. Precisely, this game often gets praised for its visuals. Therefore, their demand for a photo mode is nothing surprising. Initially, Shift Up assured players that the photo mode would come in August, but with the release of Eve’s summer outfits, it has been announced that the photo mode needs some more time.

After this official announcement came, players started expressing their opinions, and mostly, they praised the summer costume of Eve, along with their excitement for a photo mode.
However, the swimsuit outfit of Eve has brought the censorship issue to light, and players have started talking about removing the censorship.
Eve’s outfits had gone through controversies previously, and once her swimsuit aroused controversy among fans, it can’t be denied that Eve’s outfits are indeed attractive.
