“Most incredible thing I’ve seen to date”: Amazing Helldivers 2 VR Cinematic Is a Proof of Concept That Arrowhead Can’t Ignore
Helldivers 2 players got a new cinematic trailer, which opens up fresh ways that Arrowhead can consider for the game in the future.
- Helldivers 2 often gets creative ideas, but this one has blown the minds of players.
- The latest cinematic trailer of the game can be a hint for Arrowhead that should be considered seriously.
- However, in the meantime, Arrowhead has brought some new updates to the game, including a few interesting ones.
The Helldivers 2 community is pretty unique. On one hand, it constantly criticizes the game and Arrowhead for several elements, but on the other, it’s deeply in love with the game. Notably, this is one of the most creative gaming communities, where fans often suggest ideas that should be considered seriously. Once again, a similar situation arrived for Arrowhead.
Helldivers 2 has gone through numerous tough times, despite it having a significant player base worldwide. Therefore, unhappy players often create things that sometimes look better than the original game.
The VR Cinematic of Helldivers 2 Is Insane
Released in February 2024, Helldivers 2 has touched a height that most games never access in their entire lifetime. However, after a while, Arrowhead constantly failed to satisfy gamers as the game started losing its thrill. Even the recent back-to-back Automaton missions have exhausted the fanbase.
However, fans still love this game, and they want more from it. While Arrowhead is not really giving them what they want, a player recently made a VR cinematic trailer of Helldivers 2 to reveal the potential the game still has.
The trailer he released was made in real-time in Blade & Sorcery, a simulation game that is made exclusively for virtual reality. The one-minute trailer he posted on YouTube shows a battle clip where an Automaton army has attacked players and they have been trying to handle the situation.
The battle and environment look outstanding, and fans are overwhelmed by the animation and the visuals of this short clip.
Almost unanimously, players expressed that this trailer is awesome and they would love to see the full cinematic video.
Well, the developer of the clip informed that he will release the full version, but the exact time hasn’t been revealed. Whether it comes or not, the teaser pointed out that Arrowhead has loads of avenues open to make the game a further improved experience for fans.
After what the game has been facing, Arrowhead is not sitting idle for sure. It is also trying its best to improve the game.
Helldivers 2 Received the Final Update of the 60-Day Plan
When Arrowhead initially talked about the 60-Day plan, players didn’t believe the promises it made. However, the studio stuck to its plans and released the installments of this project in intervals. The concluding one was released on October 15, which brought certain changes to the game, including more impactful armor choices.
Above everything else, to make players less exhausted while fighting the Automaton faction, Arrowhead adjusted targeting, fine-tuning enemy spawn rates, and vision. As the studio revealed, it is hoping that these changes will make the Automaton fights “less frustrating.”
Interestingly, Arrowhead has brought changes to some of the weapons to make the mastering process easier. According to the patch notes, the GR-8 Recoilless Rifle and the AC-8 Autocannon now have programmable ammunition and drones that can be activated whenever players want.
This update seems to have satisfied players, at least on Steam, as the concurrent player count has slightly increased. Anyway, Sony never reveals the PlayStation player count. So, it’s still unclear how PS players reacted to this latest patch.
