The reveal trailer showcased below brings Captain America and the Winter Solider to Marvel Rivals. Popularized by Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan in the MCU, these two characters are the most recent examples of NetEase’s uncanny ability to create characters that are true to their comic book roots while being unique enough to hold their own against the rest of its expansive roster of Marvel characters.
With his shield and signature catchphrase from the MCU in tow, Captain America decimates enemies using his superhuman strength, speed, and military training while reflecting projectiles back at those unfortunate enough to take a shot at him. Many fans of the character are sure to enjoy his well-implemented mechanics, getting up close and personal with their opponents in the process.
The Winter Soldier uses his metal arm to great effect along with his guns, using his enhanced abilities to devastating effect. He is sure to give many players a thrilling experience on the field, either as their main character or as a deadly opponent hunting them down with efficiency and precision.
