Kai Cenat Started a Trend for Elden Ring Even Dr Disrespect and PewDiePie Couldn’t
Kai Cenat has presented a lot of surprising moments, but his creation of a new Elden Ring trend that another streamer recently followed is the biggest.
- Kai Cenat's popularity is beyond any question, with millions of fans and loads of weird activities.
- In 2024, this renowned streamer did two Elden Ring streams, which set the marathon stream trend for the game with nicely decorated backgrounds.
- Another renowned streamer following this similar Elden Ring trend has highlighted the popularity of Kai's streams that some other popular streamers failed to reach.
Elden Ring is undeniably one of the best action RPGs ever released. It had taken the world by storm when it was initially released in 2022, and even after two years, when Shadow of the Erdtree came, it once again refreshed the popularity of this game. These two titles have given the world a few unique steaming experiences.
Kai Cenat is a renowned name in the streaming world. This streamer has millions of subscribers on Twitch and YouTube. However, he is not only famous for his gaming streams, but his popularity is also for his unique activities that sometimes become a trend in the streaming community.
Kai Cenat’s Elden Ring Steams Have Created a New Trend
Kai Cenat is popular for his weird but entertaining activities. From streaming inside a truck to completing Chained Together while tied together with IShowSpeed in real life, this streamer has done loads of activities in recent months to surprise fans.
This list has two unforgettable streams that have generated a trend. His dedication toward his fans and creativity led him toward a most remarkable Elden Ring stream in June 2024. He did a 166-hour marathon stream to finish the base game before the DLC came. During this stream, he died more than a thousand times in the game but didn’t give up.
Later, Kai Cenat got all dressed up and sat for his Shadow of the Erdtree marathon stream. The most interesting part of the stream was the decoration and appearance of the streamer. He was dressed like Starscourge Radahn and decorated his room with props to give it an Elden Ring look.
Though previously another streamer, Dr Disrespect, announced an Elden Ring marathon stream, he left the stream in the middle and declared to be burned out on streaming; therefore, logging out for an indefinite period.
So, it was Kai Cenat who started this Elden Ring marathon stream trend. After a few months, another streamer followed in his footsteps for a marathon stream.
Tyler1 Made an Elden Ring Setup Following Kai Cenat
On September 9, the streamer dramatically started his stream. First, the camera focused on the setup, which was designed after Elden Ring, and then Tyler1 jumped in wearing a warrior’s costume behind a white pillar.
This almost immediately brought to mind the reference to Kai Cenat and his marathon streams. However, on X, players stated that he is not following Kai Cenat, but Tyler1 has been doing it for a long time.
This claim makes some sense. Though Tyler1 never decorated the setup like Kai Cenat or did a marathon stream of 100+ hours, he dressed up like Kratos in his previous God of War streams.
Some fans even shared his clips from those streams where he dressed up as a young Kratos with the replicas of one of his iconic weapons, Blade of Chaos, in his hands.
There were even the same instances of him dressed up as older Kratos during his God of War Ragnarok streams, with the Leviathan Axe with him.
However, in both cases, his background was not decorated. So, this background decoration trend and the marathon stream concept are what Kai Cenat generated with his Elden Ring streams.
