“It’s definitely not Bloodborne”: Upcoming State of Play’s Remaster Announcement Set to Fall Flat as It’s Not What We Want
PlayStation fans have been expecting the Bloodborne remake for a long time, but the upcoming State of Play will reportedly bring something else.
- Reportedly, PlayStation State of Play is almost at the door with multiple remasters, but not the one that everyone was expecting.
- While Bloodborne fans are looking forward to getting a remastered version of the game, PlayStation State of Play will bring some other remasters.
- As the ESRB rating suggested, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is under development to be released on PS5 and PC.
Another exciting time is approaching PlayStation players. Sony is ready to showcase more games during the upcoming PlayStation State of Play. After the last State of Play event in May 2024, once again, Sony is reportedly preparing for the next State of Play event, and that’s also within a few days.
The rumor of Sony organizing a State of Play at the end of September has been in the air for a long time. A renowned gaming personality, Jeff Grubb, first talked about this possibility a few days back during his show, and once again, he came up with some exciting news regarding the upcoming PlayStation State of Play.
Sony Is About to Bring More Remastered Games, but Not Bloodborne
September has thoroughly been an eventful month for PlayStation and its gamers. Where one game drastically failed, another reached an unexpected height of popularity. However, events are not over. Sony has more to show in September.
A while back, Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb stated the possibility of the next PlayStation State of Play event toward the end of September, though he wasn’t sure of the exact date.
In his latest Game Mess Mornings stream, he came up with multiple new pieces of information about PlayStation’s State of Play. During this stream, he shared that this upcoming event is expected to be broadcast on September 24, though no official declaration has arrived yet.
Aside from that, he expressed another interesting yet, to some extent, upsetting update. Rumors about Sony working on some remastered versions have been in the air for a while already, and Jeff Grubb mentioned that Sony will showcase them in the upcoming State of Play.
However, he clarified that he heard there would be some “less exciting” remastered versions, but “it’s definitely not Bloodborne.”
A remake version of FromSoftware’s 2015 game is one of the heavily demanded titles, but Sony may be focused on other games, ignoring the demands for Bloodborne for now.
Sony Is Going to Take PlayStation Players to Experience Aloy’s Journey Once More
Aloy is the renowned protagonist of the Horizon series. And it looks like Sony is about to bring a remastered version of her initial adventure, Horizon Zero Dawn.
It’s the era of remastered games. Almost every developer is working on remake versions of classic gaming franchises, and speculations were all around about Horizon Zero Dawn getting a remastered version.
Making these assumptions true, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered was rated on ESRB’s website. However, all the data was later deleted from the site, but fans are not at all happy with this remastered edition, as they didn’t hope for it at all.
In his latest stream, Jeff Grubb talked about this topic and revealed that maybe the upcoming PlayStation State of Play will showcase the upgraded version of this open-world game.
Simultaneously, he mentioned he is not sure about it, but it could be in line with some other upcoming PS5 releases like Lego Horizon Adventures and Bungie’s Marathon.
