If you are unaware, a few days back, Musk posted a video on X, where he shared his Diablo 4-level accomplishment in under 2 minutes. His love for Diablo games is well-known, and he is at the 19th rank because of his accomplishments that most players thought impossible.
Even players have seen him collaborating with Fortnite, as Epic Games once brought the Tesla Cybertruck into the battle royale. Therefore, the announcement of him opening his own AI game studio to make “games great” again wasn’t shocking.
What drew the attention of gamers more was his replies about Hasbro. The conversation began when D&D Product Lead Jason Tondro posted about some issues regarding the “Making of D&D” book. He mentioned, “DnD creators, Gygax, and others, are erased and slandered at the same time.”
A very unexpected reply came when Musk commented, “Nobody, and I mean nobody, gets to trash E. Gary Gygax and the geniuses who created Dungeons & Dragons.”
The same day, when he announced his AI gaming studio, once again he replied to an X post about the same topic and this time directly asked, “How much is Hasbro?”
This has triggered the speculation of him targeting the Dungeons & Dragons developer to make the studio great again. Despite him not elaborating on anything specific about purchasing the studio, if he does, he will get the legal rights to several other games like Magic The Gathering, Axis & Allies, Monopoly, and My Little Pony.

Therefore, Dungeons & Dragons fans shouldn’t be upset if he really acquires Hasbro, considering the current situation of this gaming company. Though the struggles of the company are real and prominent, fans aren’t happy with the thought of Musk acquiring it.
A lot of fans unanimously agreed on the point that Elon Musk will ruin Dungeons and Dragons if he acquires it.
