“I would still rock this skin…”: Assassin’s Creed, Transformers and Toy Story Are Just the Start of Space Marine 2 Crossovers
With some renowned skins like Bumblebee from Transformers, Space Marine 2 begins its crossover journey within one month of its launch.
- Space Marine 2 promised players that it will bring new cosmetic items every season, which the game has started already.

Saber Interactive has taken the gaming world by storm with Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2. From the promotional videos to the gameplay, everything perfectly suited what fans had been expecting from the game. Now, it seems like Saber Interactive is on its way to fulfilling another promise it made before the game’s global launch.
Crossovers are kind of common, and often, games collaborate with other renowned franchises to bring new content and items. And Space Marine 2 has started its crossover journey.
Space Marine 2 Is Bringing Some Unexpected Skins for Titus
Since its release, Space Marine 2’s journey has been pretty smooth, despite players facing some issues with a few in-game aspects. However, before the game’s release, Saber Interactive stated in the roadmap that the game would get new cosmetic items each season, and a recent announcement shows that the developer wasn’t faking it.
On the official Warhammer 40K X page, a recent video shows some costume ideas for Titus, and surprisingly, it includes a few that players probably never expected to see. This 1 minute, 17-second clip shows multiple skins for Captain Titus, including Bumblebee from Transformers, Buzz Lightyear from the Disney-Pixar Toy Story franchise, Ezio from Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed, etc.
There are a few more skins shown to build up the hype, and that strategy worked well, as Space Marine 2 fans are super excited about getting these outfits.
Though all the outfits shown received positive responses from fans, players mostly got excited about the Assassin’s Creed outfit.
It’s only the beginning of Saber Interactive bringing new customization options as part of crossovers. This trend will hopefully keep going on during all other seasons of the game.
In a recent interview, the CCO of Saber Interactive revealed that it’s planning to bring a lot more content in the future for Space Marine 2 players.
Tim Willits Addressed Plans About Space Marine 3
Since Space Marine 2 reached record-breaking popularity, the assumptions about a sequel came to the surface, as players want answers to some unsolved questions. About this issue, the Chief Creative Officer of Saber Interactive, Tim Willits, offered his views when he appeared for an interview with IGN.
Though the sales of Space Marine 2 haven’t yet been declared officially, this game has crossed multiple renowned games within a few days. Therefore, very naturally, the issue of future content appeared, and Willits’ response is enough to enlighten the hopes. He revealed,
“Our game director Dmitry Grigorenko, he has proposed some story ideas that could either be DLC or a sequel.”
The CCO also stated that they are aware of the factions and chapters that may excite players if included in the future. He mentioned, “We just have to figure it out. I would love to do it, yes.”
Most importantly, he assured Space Marine 2 fans that Saber Interactive won’t disappoint them in the future with content.
