“I am so hyped to dive back into Dead Rising”: Despite Some Poor Reviews, the Players Have Spoken With Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster initially created a negative impact after back-to-back failures of Dead Rising games, but fans are still hyped to play it.
- Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster was not very appreciated initially, but things have changed as players have started accessing the game.
- The quality of the last few Dead Rising games was mainly responsible for players becoming skeptical about the remastered version of the original game.
- However, Capcom didn't change too many things, except for the graphical improvement of the game, to keep things similar to the 2006 Dead Rising.
It’s time to jump back into the journey with Frank West in an improved manner. Dead Rising is one of the widely renowned gaming series by Capcom, which began with the original game in 2006. However, after 2016, this series went into a long pause, until the release of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster was announced.
The game has already released in different countries, based on the time zones. Initially, some players weren’t happy with the remastered version, but as access began, the situation seemed to have changed. Some players have expressed their excitement about diving back into the classic series.
Poor Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Reviews Didn’t Affect the Hype of Fans
Zombies often make the best enemies, and multiple zombie-themed games have proved this fact throughout the years. Even Capcom has one of the best zombie series running for decades: Resident Evil. Interestingly, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster also has a Resident Evil skin for Frank West.
Initially, when Dead Rising was released in 2006, it became one of the most popular action-adventure titles, but when the remastered version surfaced after eighteen years, players, in the beginning, became skeptical about this iconic game.
That was mostly because of the rash handling of the games and the downgraded gameplay experience in each installment starting from Dead Rising 2.
This has resulted in some poor reviews and opinions from fans. However, as the release date came closer, things took a different turn, and on X, one player revealed his excitement to dive into the journey.
Following the same tone, multiple other Dead Rising fans expressed their hype to play the remastered version after years.
As a remastered version, the game has brought some obvious changes, but none of them killed the original vibe that players received in 2006.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Presents a Freshly Designed Iconic In-Game Location
Often, the remastered versions mess things up and destroy the entire thrill of the original games. However, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster keeps the game’s core design intact, with only the most obvious change: a visual overhaul. Once you start roaming around, you will find that every corner of the Willamette Mall is equally challenging and full of zombies. The only change is that the visuals are much more detailed than they were 18 years ago.
All the areas of the mall are redesigned with proper themes to make them more realistic. However, the only thing that players may complain about is the darkness. A few areas of the game are darker than required.
Aside from that, another big change that happened to the game is Frank West’s characterization. If you remember, the protagonist was a young man in the 2006 game. However, to give a realistic touch to the game, Capcom, this time, featured Frank West who’s much older than he was back in 2006. He is now a middle-aged man.
This attention to detail has made the remastered version enjoyable after multiple disappointing Dead Rising games.
