This exclusive content is available on both PS5 and PS4. The Iki Island takes players on an exhilarating journey where they face off against enemies who are more daunting and terrifying than the ones found on Tsushima Island. Jin ventures on a challenging quest to confront his ghosts of the past.

How To Unlock The Iki Island Expansion in Ghost of Tsushima
First and foremost players will have to complete Act 2 in Ghost of Tsushima. Act 2 can be found can be found in the Toyotoma Region. Once you have reached here you will be able to access the Iki Island expansion.
Players who import their PlayStation 4 saved data to Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will be instantly notified that Iki Island is available. Bear in mind though, that Act 2 must be completed in that save to get instant access to Iki Island.
In case you already have a previous save you don’t have to go to Act 2. Once you have loaded the game you will be able to see a new Tale on the map called “Journey Into The Past”. This is located in the Toyotoma Region at the Drowned Man’s Shore once you see the Tale tag it and the wind will guide you to the location.
After reaching the location you will find yourself in a dubious situation. You will see a deserted Mongol ship on the shore. Next, you will have to investigate the situation which will result in a confrontation against the Mongols.
An intense battle will play out where you will have to survive till the end. Once the battle is over you will be able to find a ship that will take you to Iki Island. Killing hostiles in Ghost of Tsushima isn’t an easy task and in this expansion, you will find a new enemy type called the Shamans.
The villages in Drowned Man’s Shore have been infested by lunacy. The villagers have been driven insane by some mysterious force and the ghostly Shamans won’t make your job easy. With danger lurking in every nook and corner of the village, you will need to be constantly alert to survive the quest.
Before starting your quest for Iki Island remember a few things. Once the quest is started, players won’t be able to come back to Tsushima Island since the quest takes some time. So, start the quest only after you have finished a significant amount of quests on Tsushima island. Players must upgrade their armory before embarking on the quest for Iki Island. To amp up your survival rate make sure to earn the Ghost armor, Kenshi armor, and Sakai Clan.
The developers have added new mechanics to Iki Island. Here you will find the horse charge maneuver- this ability will allow you to run down groups of Mongols who are roaming on the island. By using the horse charge players will be able to build up their Ghost Stance (make sure to unlock it before).
All in all the Iki Island expansion offers a lot of new content for Ghost of Tsushima players. Needless to that this expansion requires hours to complete and where players will face a relentless assault from the Shamans.
