Create the Largest Possible Character

The first thing that influences the carrying capacity of your character is the physical build of it. The physical build you have chosen while creating your character will determine the maximum weight your Arisen can carry. The same thing applies to the Pawns as well. As the body weight determines the carrying capacity, the best way to have a bigger inventory space is to create the biggest character possible. 

While making your Arisen and Main Pawn character in the game, you will get the option to customize their height, muscle, thigh, waist, and other upper and lower body parts. Ideally, you should make a regular character for the game, but if you are looking for more carry capacity, make your characters taller, with bigger upper and lower body size. Though muscles don’t really contribute to the carrying capacity, still if you max them out, you can have a few more items.

However, while doing this, players need to remember that body weight directly affects the frequency of stamina recharge. The more the body weight increases, the more your character will get a slow stamina regeneration.

Choose Fighter Vocation

If you have been playing Dragon’s Dogma 2, you must have already noticed that the game has different vocations available in the game. Each vocation not only comes with their set abilities, but also with a set carrying capacity. Some vocations have more carrying capacity than others. For example, among the four primary vocations, Fighter has the most carrying capacity and Mage has the least. Thief and Archer have medium capacity. So, if you want to increase your carrying capacity, starting as a Warrior will be your best choice.

Even if you have started with some other vocation, you can easily change it while progressing through the game. Go to any nearby Vocation Guild and you will get the option to change vocation. Even some inns serve this purpose.

This magical equipment will give your carrying capacity a substantial boost. If you have a Ring of Accrual, your max carrying capacity will increase up to 5 kgs. Now the question is where to find these rings. Well, they need to be purchased from vendors. The world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 has several vendors roaming around at different settlements. However, to get Ring of Accrual, players need to visit two specific vendors: the traveling merchant in Melve, and the armorer in Vernworth. Spend 6500 Gold to purchase these rings.

Give your items to Pawns

The next option is one of the easiest ones. Players always have a few Pawns with them and they can share the burden of your Arisen. They are always there to help you, so you can easily divide items among them to reduce your burden and free your inventory space. This is something that you can do at any point in the game. 

Consume Golden Trove Beetles

Coming to the next solution to your inventory space problem, we suggest you get Golden Trove Beetles. The immense world of the game is full of mysterious creatures and these Beetles are among them. As you explore the world, eventually, you or your Pawns will spot glowing and oversized beetles roaming around tree trunks. Catch them and eat a few of them to increase your inventory size.

Well, consuming a single Golden Trove Beetle will increase the inventory capacity by 0.15. Initially, it won’t seem to be a huge change, but if you keep finding these Beetles and gain 0.15 kg boost for each, you will achieve a substantial carrying capacity boost within some time.

Unlock the Thew Augment

The final way to increase inventory size in the game is to unlock the Thew Augment. The Thew Augment increases max encumbrance of the players. Though it is a Fighter augment, players can enable it in every vocation, after they unlock it in the Fighter vocation. So, start playing as Fighter and reach level 6 to unlock this passive ability. After that you can change your vocation if you want.
