The first method is a default method that requires players to do nothing but launch the game for the first time. As soon as you start the game for the first time, you will immediately receive five Weapon XP Boosters. You will receive a message confirming that the XP Boosters have been added to your account.

However, these Boosters will work for only 20 minutes. So, soon you will have to look for more. The second method is to get the Battle Pass. The preseason Battle Pass will give you five more XP Boosters, but only one of them can be acquired if you don’t purchase the Battle Pass. Purchasing it will unlock the remaining 4. These XP Boosters work a little longer, for 40 minutes. 

They are not enough to unlock all the weapons and attachments in the game. Therefore, you probably need to look for a few more XP Boosters. So, you need a third method of acquiring them. Starting May 21, players can earn one Weapon XP booster per week using Twitch. All they need to do is watch 30 minutes of XDefiant gameplay on any Twitch channel. These XP Boosters again work for only 20 minutes. 

Don’t you find this way convenient? Well, don’t worry; there are two more ways. However, among them, the first one is exclusively for PC players. If you have been experiencing XDefiant on PC, there’s a chance for you to win XP Boosters every week. All you need to do is complete the Ubisoft Connect Weekly Challenges to acquire these boosters. Let me explain it a little further to make it clear.

Visit the main menu, and from there, navigate to Ubisoft Connect. There, you will find weekly challenges. Each week, the game features four weekly challenges, and most of them reward players with XP Boosters. Even community challenges sometimes provide players with XP Boosters. 

The final way to get XP Boosters in XDefiant is to use Ubisoft Units and get a Weapon XP booster from the Ubisoft Connect rewards page. 

These are ways to get XP Boosters and level up faster in the game. If you have gone through these methods, you must have understood that getting XP Boosters requires you to grind the game a lot. There’s no way to purchase them using in-game currency or real-world money. 

How to Use XP Boosters in XDefiant

Well, the purpose of acquiring these XP Boosters is already clear. So, it is time to know how to activate them. After acquiring these XP Boosters, players can’t randomly use them whenever they want. There are a few criteria to maintain. The first criterion is that players should be in a multiplayer lobby to activate the boosters. Next, if you have multiple XP Boosters, you can’t activate them on the main menu.

In that case, enter a lobby, start matchmaking, and then click on the Play option. Next, choose the game mode, and once you are done with these activities, you will find a big button on the right side of the screen that says Activate Booster. Click on it, and the game will provide you with options to choose boosters from the acquired ones. 

An interesting part of selecting XP Boosters is that you can activate more than one booster at a time, and doing that will provide you with a combined time. For example, if you activate two 40-minute boosters, you will get the effect for the next 80 minutes. Well, doing that is a bit risky, as if you don’t play that long, the booster will be wasted. So, we recommend activating multiple boosters, considering the time frame of your gameplay.
