If you don’t have in-game currencies to spend but you need some Bath Salts, all you need to do is dig random areas using the Silver Spade. During your run, you must have noticed digging spots throughout the game. These digging spots can be found both in the Underworld and on the Surface. Start digging these spots with the Silver Spade to check whether you get Bath Salts or not. Of course, all these digging spots don’t give bath salt; instead, it is pretty rare to get this item from these spots. 

Undoubtedly, it is pure luck. If you are lucky, you will gather multiple Bath Salts in a few minutes. Otherwise, this same process will take hours to complete. Bath salt can be purchased from the Wretched Broker. This NPC will sell Bath Salts for 50 Bones and he will have a stack of bath salt in his stock during every run. While interacting with this shop, navigate to the Exotic Goods tabs to purchase your desired item. This is a more convenient option to get Bath Salts when you are in dire need of this item. Well, there’s a trick. 

Wretched Broker won’t sell you Bath Salts from the beginning of the game. Players need to meet certain criteria to unlock this affinity-increasing item as a purchasable item in the game. This seller NPC will appear and stay near the cauldron at Crossroads once you unlock Crossroads Hot Springs. Once this criterion is fulfilled, the seller will start selling Bath Salts. Therefore, it is time to check the unlocking process of the hot spring.

How to Unlock Crossroads Hot Springs in Hades 2

Hades 2 has lots of obstacles to remove as players start progressing through the game, and most of them require incantations to be cleared. A similar scenario will be found when players try to unlock the Crossroads Hot Springs. To unlock it, players need to perform the Rite of Vapor-Cleansing Incantation at the cauldron. This incantation requires 2x Molly, 2x Nightshade and 2x Lotus. If you have these items in your inventory, it’s okay to use them for the spell, but if you don’t have them, don’t worry. You can easily collect them.

Moly is a plant that grows in the first area of the Underworld named Erebus. This is a small plant with a blue sparkle to make it easier to locate. Plant them and wait for some time to get Nighshades.

The final resource to perform the incantation is Lotus. Lotus can be acquired from the second biome of the Underworld, named Oceanus. Once you are done with Hecate, you will unlock this biome, and while exploring it, you will spot Lotus pretty randomly. This can be harvested using any tool you have, but the spawn rate is a real problem. If you don’t find Lotus during the first run through the biome, go for another run. 

Once all these items are collected, submit them all in the cauldron to perform the incantation and make the seller stay at Crossroads permanently. Now that you have Bath Salts, it is time to know how to use them.

Which NPCs Accept Bath Salts in Hades 2?

Luckily, most Hades 2 NPCs are willing to accept bath salt and have a warm, steamy bath with Melinoe. This list includes all the gods and goddesses, like Dora, Hecate, Odysseus, Nemesis, Moros, and Eris. Well, this process is again a bit tricky, as these NPCs will refuse your offer if you don’t give them their required gifts before the invitation. For example, Dora requires 1 Nectar before accepting the bath salt. Hecate and Moros require two Nectars each to accept your offer. 

The number gradually increases, with Nemesis asking for four Nectars and one Twin Lures to accept your bath salt. The process is complicated for sure, but once they accept the offer and have a warm bath with you in the hot spring, your bond with them will reach the next level, and you will have a good conversation with them.
