How to Find Lennart in Dragon’s Dogma 2
Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma 2 is one of the most successful games of 2024 since the beginning of the year. Maintaining the convention of action RPGs, Dragon’s Dogma 2 has multiple quests to complete to progress through the main story of the game, and most importantly, these quests unfold different spheres of the story. However, while progressing through the game, NPCs can’t be ignored and that’s exactly the case with Lennart.
The more you progress through the game and explore different in-game regions, players will get familiar with NPCs who will help them complete quests or access some necessary items. At a point, the game will ask you to look for Lennart for a specific purpose and that’s when the search for Lennart will begin. If you are a bit confused about his location, don’t randomly roam around the map; instead, go through our guide for necessary help.
This guide will definitely tell you the complete way to reach Lennart, but before that let’s check out why players need to look for him.
Dragon’s Dogma 2- Why to Look For Lennart in the Game?
If you are looking for Lennart, you must have progressed a considerable distance and understood that most of the missions require players to interact with some NPCs. One among them is the Oxcart Courier quest. Oxcarts are a kind of fast travel system in the game and players need to use them to travel faster to a distant location.
The Oxcart courier quest is also given to you by an Oxcart manager. If you are unsure of how to get the quest, the first thing you need to do is to visit Venworth and make your way to the north side of the city where you will spot an Oxcart station. While you are waiting for the Oxcart, an NPC named Donovan will approach you and entrust you with a letter which is addressed to Lennert. So, you have to look for Lennart to complete the quest.

Well, let me tell you, in all probability, you have already encountered Lennert during your journey, but most of the players probably don’t remember his location. If you are among those who are aware of the location, you wouldn’t have come here for sure. So, as you have forgotten the location, let me remind you once again.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 Lennart Location- Where to Find?
To begin your search, you have to go to Melve. Of course, the Oxcart is the best option for traveling to your destination without wasting much time. However, Donovan will inform you that Oxcarts only depart at certain hours and players need to wait until the next Oxcart is ready to start its journey.
As soon as you reach Melve, players may get into a twisted situation where they will find a dragon attacking the location. We will come to this quest later. But for now, let’s focus on finding Lennart. Irrespective of whether you have dealt with the dragon or not, players need to look for the stone archway at the entrance of the village. Upon locating it, roam around the location, to spot an NPC with a large cape with fur around his shoulders.
The tricky part is that Lennart is not an NPC who stays at a single location. Instead, he roams around the village, and talks with other NPCs. So, locating him takes a lot of work. We suggest looking for him in the Inn, near the well, and at his house which is located just opposite side of the inn. Mostly, he is found near the broken well.
If you have found him, that’s great. However, there’s a huge chance that you probably won’t find him. In that case, don’t worry. Explore the village and make your way to the highest point of the village. There you will locate the house of Ulrika. Talk to her and accept her offer of staying in her house for that night. This will work like magic. The next morning the NPC you have been looking for the entire day will visit you.
Interact with him and Lennart will give you a quest before you deliver him the letter. Complete the task and give the letter to the NPC to complete your mission. This second method will be helpful especially if you don’t find the dragon upon your arrival at Melve. In that case, finding Lennart will become a lot more trickier.
The Dragon Fight in Melve- Why to Complete the Quest?
Melve is one of the important locations in the game where players need to come back again and again to complete different quests. While delivering Donovan’s letter is probably the major objective you have when you return to the village, there’s something more significant lying behind it. Players can unlock the Mystic Shepherd vocation from Melve.
Once you return to Melve with the letter, very likely you will find a dragon attacking the village. Though your current quest doesn’t require you to fight the dragon, players need to participate in the fight. The objective is not to kill the dragon but to send it away.
The fight won’t take long as players can easily understand the attacks of the dragon and protect themselves. Fortunately, you will find, you are not the only one who’s been helping the guards doing this. There will be a mysteriously hooded fighter as well. Attack the enemy and eventually, it will fly away.
Once the dragon flies away and you have completed the quest, you will see the hooded man with a double-sided spear going away. Approach him and interaction with him will reveal that his name is Sigurd. Ask him about his fighting style and you will instantly unlock the Mystic Shpherd vocation of the game.
That’s everything players should know about finding Lenart in Dragon’s Dogma 2. In this game quests are interrelated and completing one quest will make you complete a few more quests. However, if you deliver the letter successfully, Donover will reward you with 5000 Gold and Miner’s Hosen, which is a leg armor in the game. Equipping it will give your defense a further boost.
