How to Find All Stonesword Key Locations in Elden Ring
Throughout the entire Elden Ring journey, players will encounter multiple dungeons and secret paths that will take them to some of the most important areas of the game. However, not all these dungeons and secret paths are easily accessible ones; instead, some of them require players to have keys to unlock them. Here comes the Stonesword Keys.
These are the keys that will open multiple secret ways for players as they can break the seals, called Imp Statues. The game has numerous Stonesword Keys to acquire and some of them can be purchased. However, for the remaining keys players need to explore the major game regions like Stormveil Castle, Roundtable Hold, Liurnia of the Lakes, the Academy of Raya Lucaria, etc., thoroughly. Almost all these areas have a few Stonesword Keys available that players need to find if they want to access every locked door.
Limgrave Stonesword Keys Location
Limgrave has three Stonesword Keys available. One can be found in the Dragon-Burnt Ruins and the other two will be found in the Bridge of Sacrifice.
- Once you reach the Dragon-Burnt Ruins, players will find a room that has a corpse and a giant rat. The corpse has the key with it.
- The next key will be found after you reach the Bridge of Sacrifice. Go to the southern end of the bridge and you will find a wooden barrier. The key will be found next to it.
- The third and the final key will be found after you cross the bridge. Head south and eventually you will reach the top of a mountain. There players will encounter a corpse with the key.
Weeping Peninsula Stonesword Key Location
Once players reach Weeping Peninsula, they must head to Castle Morne to get the Stonesword key. Make your way to the Behind the Castle Site of Grace and look towards the left side. You will find a wooden platform. On this platform, players will see a body with the key.
Stormhill Stonesword Key Locations
Stormhill has two Stonesword keys. The first one will be found in the Stormhill Shack and the other will be found in the Stormveil Castle.

- Once you reach Stormhill Shack, make your way to the nearby Site of Grace and the Stonesword key will be found near the Site of Grace.
- For the next one, make your way to the Stormveil Castle. Head to the top of the Rampart Tower and you will see a building with a broken roof. Inside the building you will find a corpse with the key on his body.
Mt.Gelmir Stonesword Key Locations
Mt.Gelmir also has two Stonesword keys to be found. The first one to be found at Fort Laiedd and the other one is located in the Sage’s Cave.
- Once you are at Fort Laiedd, make your way to the north side of the fort. Near the cliffs, you will find a burned tree and under it there will be a corpse with the key.
- This one is a bit tricky to find. In the Sage’s Cave, you will find a fake wall. Behind this wall, players will find a chest that contains the key.
Liurnia of the Lake Stonesword Key Location
Another region that has two Stonesword key to find. The first one to be found at Raya Lucaria Academy, and the next one will be found at the Debate Parlor.
- Once you reach the Raya Lucaria Academy, go to the courtyard and inside the fountain, players will find the Stonesword key.
- The next Stonesword key will be found through the Illusory Wall in Raya Lucaria Academy. This wall is located just before the Debate Parlour Site of Grace.
Caelid Stonesword Key Locations
Caelid also has two Stonesword keys to find. The First one is located in the Gaol Cave, and the second one is located in the Sellia, Town of Sorcery.
- Once you reach the Gaol Cave and located Wakizashi, in the same cell, you will also find a corpse. The corpse has the key.
- The next one to be found on a corpse that players will locate laying on a ledge linking two buildings.
Altus Plateau Stonesword Key Locations
Altus Plateau has four Stonesword keys to find. Among them, three are located at the same location, Leyndell Royal Capital and the last one will be found in the Sealed Tunnel.

- The first key will be found before entering the Royal Capital. This one will be found at the outskirts of the city. A corpse will hold this.
- After this one, the second Swordstone key will be found at the entrance of Lyndell, Royal Capital. Again the key will be found with a corpse.
- The third one will be found outside the manor. Jump from the Dragon’s Foot and you will see a small building that has a Stonesword Key.
- The fourth and the final key will be found in the third sector of the Sealed Tunnel. Once you reach the part, go to the upper terrain and you will get the key.
Consecrated Snowfields Stonesword Key Locations
Concentrated Snowfields is a late game location and has only one key that can be found in the Yelough Anix Ruins. Once you are in the ruins, go to the north section of the ruins and you will find one within a tiny open structure.
Deeproot Depths Stonesword Key Locations
Deeproot Depths has one Stonesword key available. To find it, players need to travel to the northwest side of the area where players will locate Crucible Knight Sirulia. Near this location, they will spot a building and at the top of the building, they will get the key.
Nokron, Eternal City Stonesword Key Locations
Norkon, Eternal City has too many things to discover and therefore, it is possible that players may miss the only Stonesword Key available here. To get it, players need to make their way to the destroyed temple in Nokron, Eternal City, and on the cliff you will see a corpse that has the key.
Crumbling Farum Azula Stonesword Key Locations
The final area of the game also has a Stonesword key to find. This is one of the most dangerous areas of the game, but players can still get the key near a corpse that is located in an open area near the corner.
These are the Stonesword Keys that players can find in the Elden Ring. Apart from these, players can purchase a few of these keys from merchants. Though these are not compulsory to find, without them lots of areas will remain unexplored.
