Rainmaker will be found in his own fortress. To find the fortress, players need to make their way to Raaha Island, which is located on H8 coordinates on the southeast side of the map. To be more specific, the island is located next to Sahin Manor.

Locating the island may not be challenging, but the challenging part is accessing the fortress, as it can’t be accessed randomly. Like every other time, players need to get the fortress key to enter and face the boss. There are two potential methods to get the key. The first and easiest one is to purchase it from a Buy Station. On the Buy Station, if you can spend 2000 Essence, you will get the fortress keycard.

The second method is pretty tough and time-consuming. To begin with the process, players need to find a Mercenary Camp to get a Mercenary Stronghold Keycard. We recommend finding the camp in a low-threat zone. Next, find a Mercenary Stronghold. Again, it will be best if you can locate one in the low-threat zone. Otherwise, clearing the stronghold will be tough.

Once you clear the entire stronghold, locate the vault inside. The drilling process will take some time, so be careful and watch out for enemies until the vault is finally opened. Pick the Rainmaker Fortress Keycard from the vault, and you are now ready to access the fortress.

How to Defeat Warlord Rainmaker in MW3 Zombies

Warlords are kind of world bosses, and players can’t randomly go for these fights without prior preparation. The entire fortress area is covered with different machines and mercenaries to eliminate players, even before they enter the main building. So, having some powerful weapons is necessary, along with enough healing items. Additionally, whenever you are planning to fight some bosses, it is always wise to bring some teammates.

Even for the Rainmaker fight, we suggest you bring at least a three-player squad. Skilled teammates are always an additional strength to fight challenging enemies. They can distract other enemies in the area and back you up whenever required. Fortunately, the fortress is located in a low-threat zone. So, players can easily access this location at any point when they are ready for it. 

About the weapon selection, we recommend carrying an assault rifle. Make sure to equip the weapon with a 3x optic and suppressor. Both of them are required for some stealth kills. Sounds of gunfire will attract enemy attention, which is not at all recommended. Additionally, for the secondary weapon, players can choose Haymaker. That’s a powerful shotgun. Also, we would suggest taking a grenade launcher. For more safety, you can take some grenades as well.

Once you reach the fortress area, you must be careful about Mortar Strikes. Mortar Strikes are dangerous, as once the enemy activates them, they will shoot three mortar shells that detonate in random areas. These attacks are unpredictable, so using covers to avoid them is the best option you can have at that point.

They all have their armor on, so taking them down won’t be an easy task. You can either shoot them with your AR or throw grenades at them to deal damage to them. 

After you are done with the initial resistance, it’s time to enter the fortress and again face some mines. That’s something tricky to avoid. As soon as you go past the green line, explosions happen. They need to be destroyed to make your way to the second floor, where the boss is waiting for you. 

After all these, the boss fight is relatively easy. The boss is not going to attack you with deadly moves. Instead, he is mostly going to run around the fortress rooms to misguide you. Well, don’t follow him blindly. Almost every room has traps set for you. As soon as you get past the green laser lines, you are going to get eliminated with an explosion. 

Whenever he takes you to a green-laser trap, first shoot the box generating the laser and then the boss. This will take some time and tons of ammo to deal with the boss, but the fight can be easily won. The boss won’t deal much damage if you are careful and don’t make yourself vulnerable.
