The story of the game gets a new expansion that introduces new enemies who are trying to spread terror in Urzikstan. If you have defeated all the Season 1 Zombies bosses and now exploring the Season 2 Reloaded content, you must have heard about Warlord Keres.

Warlord Keres is one of the toughest enemies to beat and players need to prepare a proper strategy to beat this enemy. While the fight is not challenging, it will be tricky for sure. So, if you get stuck while trying to defeat Warlord and trying to figure out how to defeat Warlord Keres in MW3 Zombies, this guide will provide you with all the necessary details.

Warlord Keres Location in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies- How to Access?

If you have taken Keres similar to the Warlord you have faced in Season 1, you are mistaking the entire matter. Warlord Keres is a chemical battle specialist. So, players need to be prepared to fight different poisonous chemical and gas attacks. However, don’t forget to bring a Gas Mask. That’s a must for this fight.

If you are confused about the location of the enemy, that’s nothing surprising as one can’t find Keres, if they don’t know the exact location. To find this boss, players need to go to the northeast part of Urzikstan and make their way to  Orlov Military Base. At the military base, they will find a killhouse. For a clearer reference, players can check the map location above.

Once you locate the location, the next step is to access it. Though it sounds simple, it will require you to find the Keres Stronghold Keycard. This item can be found inside the safes located in Mercenary Strongholds. This process will take some time. First, players need to locate a Mercenary Camp or Convoy to get a Mercenary Stronghold Keycard.

After you get the Mercenary Stronghold Keycard, you have to make your way to a Mercenary Stronghold and clear the entire area, including the reinforcement helicopters, to access and open the safe. The safe can be located anywhere inside the stronghold. Once you open the safe, you will get the Keres Stronghold Keycard to progress toward your main objective.

Now that you have the keycard, let’s check the strategies to fight the boss.

Tips and Strategies to Beat Keres Warlord in MW3 Zombies

If you have been planning to fight Keres, one thing you need to note is that she is not an easily accessible boss. The entire base is well-secured by mercenaries and entering the killhouse without attracting their attention is impossible. So, the first thing players need to do is to make a squad. It is nearly impossible to defeat the boss alone as there are waves of enemies, and gas traps to deal with. You can, of course, try the fight alone, but the probability of success is almost zero. Therefore, we recommend you bring a four-player squad and jump into the fight.

Having a squad is always one of the greatest advantages in the game. Your teammates help you fight enemies and revive you whenever you needed. We can’t say that Keres fight will be easy with them, but at least it will seem doable if you have a team that will back you up in tricky situations.

Apart from that, a three-plate vest and pack-a-punch weapons are mandatory. Try to bring level 3 Pack-A-Punch weapons, along with Rocket Launchers. The entire area will be filled with Snipers, turrets, and other enemies. Even you will encounter Special Zombies when you are trying to enter the Killhouse. It is hard to tackle all these alone.

As soon as they see you, they will continuously attack and these attacks deal tons of damage.  If you are not aware, they will eliminate you within a few seconds. Along with your weapons, bring Gas Masks. Gas Masks are mandatory to survive. The enemy will give you a chemical-based fight where poisonous gas traps will play a key role in eliminating you.

After fighting all the guards outside, once you enter the killhouse, you will get blinded by a poisonous gas. This gas not only lowers your visibility and deals damages. It does something much more dangerous. It instantly disables Thermal Optics and equipment like Heartbeat Sensors. This gas is spread throughout the killhouse making it hard for the players to navigate inside. Inside the Killhouse, use the Gas Masks to survive and look for the Ammo Caches to replenish oxygen levels.

Keres will be found inside the Smokescreen. Once you start fighting her, you will realize she not only has poisonous gas attacks, but hard-hitting weapons. Make sure her attacks don’t land on you. Her ballistic weapons deal significant damage. So, if the attacks successfully land, players will lose a chunk of their health. However, the boss can’t attack in long range. So, always keep your distance. The gas lowers your visibility, but all the Thermal scopes are disabled. Therefore, the situation will get more than enough tricky to deal with, especially, if you are alone. Try to aim your target properly and unload all your bullets on her to take her down.

Once Warlord Keres is dead, players will get some exciting rewards.
