Location of Radagon in Elden Ring

The Radagon boss fight is divided into two phases. Though this fight is far from being the toughest fight of the game, still players have to encounter two phases to end the game. In the first fight, you will see the human form of Radagon, known as Radagon of the Golden Order, and in the second phase, you will see the dragon form of Radagon renowned as Radagon, the Elden Beast.

Radagon of the Golden Order Fight Steps

The enemy has a wide range of attacks that include AoE attacks, grab attacks, thrown weapon attacks, close-range Hammer combos, and thrust attacks. Initially, the boss starts with a foot stomp that throws you backward and it will deal with Holy Damage. Whenever his foot starts glowing, watch out for this attack.
Apart from that the boss has tons of hammer attacks. All of which deal with holy damages. Additionally, it has two ranged attacks among which one can easily be dodged while the other one can’t be dodged as it has a quick animation that doesn’t give you time to react. Both these ranged attacks are of lightning bolt attacks. Remember, this enemy tends to repeat ranged attacks back-to-back. So, don’t get assured and go close to him after he launches a ranged attack.

Coming to the grab attacks, these are probably one of the deadliest attacks that can end your journey instantly. Fortunately, these attacks don’t come as a surprise, but they have prior signs. Before a grab attack, you will see the enemy’s hands start glowing and taking the shape of a claw. As soon as you notice, jump out of his range.
The most powerful attack the Radagon has is the triple hammer ground slam. Players will easily understand this attack is coming when the boss raises its right hand over his head. Radagon, The Elden Beast Fight Steps
Once Radagon is dead, his spirit will take the form of an Elden Beast. This is a giant dragon with multiple new attacks to eliminate you. The first thing you must watch out for is the fire rings. The beast will spawn circular rings of fire around you. These are not difficult to avoid. If you are caught inside it, jump over the rings. Also, it has a projectile attack, where the boss will throw projectiles at you that you must avoid. The only disadvantage of this move is that it explodes and creates a ball that will chase you for a while.
Next, comes the sword stack of the boss. The boss generally uses it to initiate a three-attack combo where the third attack sometimes ends with a slam on the ground making the move a deadly one. If the slam has a golden glow, it will explode and deal hefty damage if you come into the range. Fortunately, these attacks give enough time to react. So, whenever you notice the glow, run away or go behind the boss. The boss launches ranged attacks with his sword.

Now, if you stay away from the boss, the boss has a fire spray attack for players, where its left hand will spray fire toward you. This attack comes with holy lightning and tons of damage. So, run around the arena and try to avoid the attack.
Finally, comes the deadliest attack of the Elden Beast, the grab attack. Though this attack gives you time to dodge, it depends on when you notice the sign and your location. When the boss is in the air, you will notice, that its left hand glows to create an unmistakable yellow ball with a black core. As soon as you notice, run away from the boss.
The best way to defeat the Elden Beast is to stay close to it, especially it will be best if you can stay behind it and attack it with your melee weapon. We are suggesting melee attacks because it is not recommended to lock on the boss. Don’t try to lock on the Elden Beast. Instead, manually move your camera and whenever you get a chance, go close to the boss and deal damage with melee weapons. Try to stay under the belly of the boss. Though the boss randomly disappears and reappears at the other side of the arena, try to stay behind it or under its belly.
