Trying to figure out how to defeat Godskin Noble in Elden Ring? Don’t worry this guide will help you with a detailed walkthrough.
Before progressing to the defeating process, let’s check some important information about the boss.
Location and Other Details of Godskin Noble in Elden Ring
If you have been exploring the Volcano Manor, the Godskin Noble will be the first major boss you will encounter. Considering the weakness of the other bosses in the area, he is the toughest enemy you will encounter. However, Godskin Noble is an optional enemy whom you can easily skip if you don’t want to fight him, but if you want to face Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy, defeating Godskin Noble is necessary. Otherwise, this fight doesn’t really have any importance.
As you reach Volcano Manor, make your way to the Temple of Eiglay Site of Grace, which is almost halfway to the Legacy Dungeon. You will encounter the boss there for the first time. Next, you will again fight him as Godskin Duo when you reach Crumbling Farum Azula.
Tips and Tricks to Fight Godskin Noble in Elden Ring
Before you jump into the fight, one thing players must know about the Godskin Noble is that this enemy has lots of attacks to deal damage, along with a surprisingly faster speed to cover the distance in no time. The boss uses black fire magic and combines it with a set of melee attacks. The fight will be divided into two phases and the boss becomes more aggressive as the fight goes on.
Use a shield to protect yourself from the boss’s attacks. If you require, you can use any Spirit Ash to fight with you. The first attack that the enemy uses is to start swinging the sword in a circle for the first hit. Players must block the swing first, and then roll to avoid this attack. The second attack of the boss includes Repeating Thrusts where the boss repeatedly thrusts his heavy sword at the player. Players must dodge the attack.
Next comes the Black Flame attacks. The boss uses two attacks that include Black Flame Magic. The first attack involves a black flame that the boss will throw at you. This black flame will travel at a faster speed and upon hitting, it will deal massive damage. Jump to your left or right to avoid this attack. The next, Black Flame attack is the Black Flame Barrier. Here, the boss will create Balck Flame pillars around himself that will stay for a while before they disappear. Run Away to avoid these pillars.
Apart from these, there’s another Black Flame attack that the Noble can launch to eliminate you is the shockwave attack. Upon losing around his 40% health, the boss will start floating into the air. While slowly floating into the air, the boss will create a wave of Black Flame around himself. Next, he will emit a small shockwave around him to push back the player. Keep hitting him to prevent him from releasing the shockwaves.
Among the other attacks, the boss will have Belly Sove where he shoves his belly on the players. If it hits, you will get damaged. So, it is better to avoid the attack by jumping backward. Next comes one of the deadly attacks of the boss, called: Body Slam. Here the boss will jump into the air and slam down on the ground dealing a lot of damage to the players if they are close. Try to make as much distance as possible to avoid this attack.

The two final attacks of the boss that you must watch out for are Godskin Wheel and Stab and Attack. If the boss finds you vulnerable, he will often try to stab you with his sword, followed by an overhead strike or a backhand attack. Dodge to your right side to avoid both attacks. Finally comes the Godskin Wheel, where the boss will start rolling towards you. It is better if you hide behind a pillar. Pillars will stop the boss from rolling forward.
Both phases of the boss fight will have the same attacks. The second phase may add some new attacks, but these are the prominent ones that the enemy will use throughout the fight. Though none of them will eliminate you instantly, they can deal massive damage for sure, especially the Body Slam attack.
While focusing on defense should be the priority, you can’t neglect the attack. You must attack the boss whenever you get scopes. Godskin Noble is weak to bleed and slashing damage. So, watch out for his attacks and stab him a few times whenever you get the chance. Also, you can use Spirit Ash like Mimic Tear to get some help. You can call online players, but that will increase the healthbar of the boss. Additionally, you can consider putting the boss to sleep for a while to deal lots of damage. For that, we recommend using Sleep Pot. However, you can use other sorceries. This fight won’t be difficult if you don’t try to speed the process up. Let it happen at the default pace and make sure to stick to your strategy. The fight will take some time, but you will win the battle.
That’s everything you need to know to defeat Godskin Noble in Elden Ring. Like every other boss, you will receive some valuable items upon defeating him. Once you kill Godskin Noble, you will get 50,000 runes, the Godskin Stitcher weapon, and the Noble Presence incantation.
