How to Defeat Belial in Stellar Blade
Belial giving a hard time? Don't worry, this guide will solve all your issues about fighting the boss.
Powerful bosses construct the central theme of Stellar Blade. As soon as Eve starts her journey, the journey will mostly include puzzle solutions and boss fights. The more she progresses through the main missions and unlocks new areas, the more she will face challenging world bosses who guard the progress path. Well, Belial is not a world boss, but one of the mandatory mini-bosses of the game. If you take him lightly for being a mini-boss, that’ll be one of the biggest mistakes.
As a mandatory boss, there’s no way players can skip this fight. So, Belial will appear for sure when Eve reaches that point, and from previous experiences, it is confirmed that he will fight until the end. So, looking for some help is natural. Don’t worry, this guide will provide all the necessary details about the boss, including its location and fighting strategies.
Stellar Blade Belial Location: Where to Find the Boss?
Some mini-bosses in Stellar Blade are all part of main story missions, so there’s no way players can avoid these fights. These encounters are inevitable. Even a few bosses need to be fought more than once during this journey; unfortunately, Belial is among them. Eve encounters this enemy twice; both encounters are part of the same mission: Eye of the Hurricane.
Eye of the Hurricane is the eleventh main mission of the game, which takes players to one of the toughest fights of the game, the Demogorgon fight. However, a few mini-bosses, including Belial, will block Eve’s path on this journey. This main mission unlocks Eve’s access to Spire 4, and while exploring this area, eventually Eve will reach the Hypertube, where this mini-boss is waiting for her.

We have already mentioned that, even though Belial is a mini-boss, preparation is important before this fight. Going underprepared for this encounter won’t help you at all because the boss is a heavy hitter, but fortunately, he will take tons of damage. So, if you have the proper strategy and abilities, this fight won’t give you a hard time.
Considering these, we recommend stopping by the nearest Supply Camp before the boss fight to replenish Eve’s health and stats. Upgrade her abilities and weapons to deal the maximum damage possible. Once you are ready, let’s check out the boss’s attacks and fighting strategy.
How to Defeat Belial in Stellar Blade
Generally, players don’t take mini-bosses seriously, but if you take Belial as a joke, elimination is just a few steps away. Belial is a standard-sized boss with a mechanical body. Unlike most other enemies in the game, this boss doesn’t have any face; instead, it has a bright light on the front side of the head. However, the most notable things are his two saw-like swords, which the boss uses as the primary weapons to deal damage.
Belial prefers close-range fights. Whenever Eve gets too close to him, the boss immediately charges his attacks to deal damage. Fortunately, as a mini-boss, this enemy is slow and has only a few attacks. When the first phase of the fight begins, the boss won’t pose any significant threat as he only launches his swing attack in this phase. Whenever Eve comes close to the boss, the enemy swings both his swords in quick succession from two sides to hit Eve. However, these attacks come in a combo of two or three back-to-back swings.
These attacks can easily be parried. Press the L1 button just before the hits are going to land on you to parry these attacks. Parrying these attacks a few times will make the boss vulnerable for a few seconds, allowing players to land critical hits. Most importantly, use the Blink ability whenever you see a blue glint on your sword. This stuns the boss, allowing you to use the best offensive abilities on the boss.

As soon as you drain 20% of the boss’s health, a cutscene will show Eve cutting one arm off the boss, and he escapes. A few minutes later, again, he arrives for the next phase of the fight. That’s the challenging phase of this boss fight. The boss now becomes stronger and regains his lost hand and the sword. So, incoming attacks will deal more damage to Eve.
In this phase, the boss will gain a little speed. That’s not the concern, though. The actual trouble is that in this phase, the boss will use some new moves. Of course, his swing attack from the previous phase will still be there, but now it will be accompanied by another jump and slam attack, where the boss will jump in the air and slam his sword into the ground. This slam causes an explosion, which is followed by blood coming out of the floor.
This is an unblockable attack, and parrying this one is impossible. So, the best thing you can do is to run away from the boss as soon as he jumps up. If you stay within the explosion range, getting huge damage is inevitable. Fortunately, even in this phase, the boss lacks instant killing attacks.
Your offense strategy is not going to change in this phase. Follow the same method to deal damage to the boss. First, parry his swing attacks to ruin his balance. This will open up chances to land critical hits. Next, whenever you get the blue indication, use the Blink ability to stun the boss and deal tons of damage. Apart from these, whenever you get a chance, use beta and burst abilities to lower the boss’s health.
This fight will take more time than usual, but there’s no way to speed it up. That’s not recommended as well. The boss takes heavy damage but deals heavier damage. So, even the slightest mistake will waste all your efforts. Once the boss’s health bar reaches 1%, a cutscene will show Eve cutting the Naytiba in two halves.
These cover almost everything one needs to know before going for the Belial fight in Stellar Blade. Stick to your strategy from the beginning until the end. Don’t allow the boss to attack you frequently by staying close to him.
