Rise of the Ronin: How to Complete Terms of the Deal

Start your journey by heading to Southwestern Tobe and speaking to Genzui Kusaka. After speaking to Kusaka you will be able to select the “I’ll do it” option to continue the quest. A dialogue sequence will start and once it ends follow Kusaka on horseback. While you are on your way it will be revealed that you are headed towards an official’s residence allied with the British.

So, get ready to face some British soldiers who are guarding the official’s residence. These soldiers can be quite menacing if you misjudge your attacks. But focusing on one at a time and staying on alert all the time should make this an easy job for you.

After reaching this area get off your horse and follow the dirt road to your left past the stone wall. The stone wall can be recognized by the carriages in front of it. Once you are past the wall you’ll find yourself in the residence’s courtyard. Take out the British redcoat who is standing guard on top of a small stone wall in front of the residence. You can take him out with a gun but the firing sound will alert a soldier. Hide in the bushes and finish him off by using your stealth instincts. Keep pressing forward and take out the other hostiles in the same manner.

After finishing off the enemies in this area look for a path to your right and you will be able to see a few enemies near a small building. A band of enemies will come towards you but Kusaka will lend you a hand in this fight. Keep going and you will find an area filled with barrels. There will be some hostiles present in this area, take them out by using your sword and eliminate the distant targets with your gun. Once the hostiles are eliminated, take a stealthy approach and climb the raised stone wall opposite the house. Then use your grapple hook to swing toward a tree in front of you. Keep on swinging and reach the tower. A guard will be keeping watch at its top. Climb the ladder to reach the top and eliminate the guard.

Now, you will see a large hole in the roof of the house. This is the place where the official is residing. Use your glider to glide over to the house and go inside. There will be some money in the upper room for you to loot. Then move towards the hole in the floor and you will be able to see the official who is standing right below you. Once you are ready charge at him. However, remember that a British soldier will be present there to guard the official. This fight won’t be very challenging since you will have Kusaka to assist you. Use all kinds of sword attacks and put out a heavy assault to take down the guard and the official.

After killing the official the encounter will end and another dialogue sequence with Kusaka will begin. When the dialogue ends you will be given two options. Choose “Couldn’t agree more” and this will deepen your bond with Kusaka. The mission comes to an end when the dialogue sequence is over.

However, there are some players who will like to go stealthily and hunt down their enemies one by one.
