If you have been going through Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, you must have already realized that this mode packs the most exciting missions that players will enjoy doing. Though the tasks are not complicated to understand, they are sometimes challenging to complete. Storm the Castle is one of the most formidable missions of the Zombies mode that is almost impossible to complete alone. If you are looking forward to completing a mission, it is important to know the objectives before you randomly start it. If you randomly start a mission without properly understanding the tasks, it will often prove to be disastrous. So, before we jump into Storm the Castle mission, let’s check the objectives:

What will be the Easiest Method to Complete the Storm the Castle Mission?

That’s indeed a tough question. The answer to it is no matter how you progress, this mission won’t be an easy one. This is a formidable mission and will be the same regardless of your method. However, before you start the mission, let me tell you that it is important to have at least a squad of four. Don’t try to do it alone. We can’t say it is impossible, but nearly impossible, and will take multiple attempts.

Before you start looking for the Mercenary camp, pack-a-punch your weapons. It is best to have at least one Sniper and one Rocket Launcher. Initially, you won’t feel the need for the Rocket Launcher, but it is one of the important things to have for the later part of the mission. Also, don’t forget self-revive kits. They will be your savior during the final stage of the mission. Once you have collected all the weapons, let’s jump into the process to find a Mercenary Camp.

These camps spawn randomly anywhere on the map. Try locating one in the low-threat zone and clear it. You need to clear out all the mercenaries unless the game tells you that the camp is cleared. Then search the cache box in the camp to get the Mercenary Stronghold keycard and progress to the next step.

Mercenary Strongholds are also randomly scattered throughout the game. It is better not to go to the orange or red zone for this objective. You can have a few in the low-threat zones. Mark one and travel to the location. From here, the challenging part begins. Mercenary Strongholds are one of the toughest locations to survive. As soon as you reach close to the stronghold, you will see enemies attacking you, even a helicopter will spawn. You must deal with them and enter the stronghold. Once you enter the stronghold, inside you will see enemies with shields and waves of mercenaries.

After clearing them, you will locate a locked safe somewhere in the stronghold. Start drilling it. The process will take some time. So, as the drilling process is going on, deal with the reinforcement helicopter and the zombies. Once the safe is opened, loot it and get the Legacy Fortress Keycard. It’s time to progress to the third and the most difficult step.

The Warlord is a powerful boss of the Zombies mode and he can be found inside the Legacy Fortress. But the area is heavily guarded by the soldiers, so reaching the main building seems impossible. This is the time when you need your squadmates and rocket launcher to deal with the swarm of soldiers and the helicopters. Once you are done with them, you have to use the key to unlock the main building and find the Warlord on the top floor, behind a shelf. At this point, remember one thing: you can’t complete this mission in two halves. If you are planning to do the first two objectives and then exfil with the Fortress keycard to return with it in the next match, this is impossible. The Fortress Keycard won’t be added to your inventory to bring it back. If you exfil, it will convert into XP and you have to start the mission from the beginning in the next match. There’s no alternative to complete it in one deployment.

Once you defeat the Warlord, he will drop a few items, including Strauss’s Research. After all these objectives are done and you have picked up Strauss’s Research, the mission will instantly be complete giving you some exciting rewards.

Rewards for Completing Storm the Castle Mission in Act 3 Tier 3
