Skull and Bones has created a stir in the gaming world since it was released in Open Beta. The first glance of the game made it clear that this game has prepared quests and contracts for the players which will take them to different locations, and thus help them explore the entire world. Not all the contracts of the game are exciting, but fortunately, Relics of the Past is one of those contracts that players will find exciting. Though exciting, it is confusing as well. So, it won’t be any surprise, if you want to know how to complete Relics of the Past in the game.

Contracts are an integral part of Skull and Bones, and players can’t avoid them if they want to progress through the story. These contracts are integrally related to the plot of the game, so, we recommend accepting and completing them whenever you get one. Among them, Relics of the Past can be found at one of the earliest locations of the game. However, as an early-game contract, this one may seem tricky. So, this guide will give you all the necessary information about completing Relics of the Past contract.

How to Get Relics of the Past Contract in Skull and Bones?

Relics of the Past is one of the most memorable contracts of the game, but without proper information about progressing through it, this contract becomes a puzzle. So, players need to have a proper idea of the objective of the contract, but before that, let’s check how they can get the contract.

Relics of the Past is one of the easiest contracts in the game, but that’s only when you know the proper steps to complete it. To get the contract, players need to reach Sainte-Anne and head west of the island. Sainte-Anne is the first important island you will reach completing the second quest of the game. Precisely, your destination should be the Pirate Outpost Vorona Falls. This can be reached early after they make their way to Sainte-Anne.

Once you reach the location, talk to Sea People Merchant. Interact with him and you will receive the Sea People Relic Clue treasure map. If you go through the map, you will get the name of the location where you need to visit: Fort Louis at Tenina Coast. The objective of this contract is to visit the location and recover the lost Sea People Relic. This is the first treasure map of the game.

The objective is not confusing, but the process is tricky. So, we have prepared the next section of the guide to give you a detailed walkthrough of the process.

Steps to Complete Relics of the Past Contract in Skull and Bones

After you accept the contract and get the map, the next task you need to complete is to travel to the Tenina Coast and complete the objective. This thing sounds straightforward, but the way to reach the location is not easy at all. The first problem is to locate Fort Louis. This is marked on the map, but if you are not sure where to look for it, you will probably get confused. To solve this problem, players need to explore the Southwest part of the map, starting from Sainte Anne. If you haven’t yet explored the part, you have to sail for some time to locate your destination.

Fort Louis Location

To make things a bit clearer, let me tell you, that the Fort will be found at the south end of the Red Isle region. However, if you have navigated to the Tennia zone, Fort Louis can be found on the west side of the location. For detailed information, you can also check the map location above.

Once you have reached Fort Louis, disembark and start your journey. Start walking forward, and after a little, take the first left turn. This will lead players to an Alcove. Roam around the area, and you will soon find a yellow light on the ground. Approaching it will provide you with the option of digging. Start digging the ground there by pressing the instructed button. For example, if you are a PC player, it will be F for you. Similarly, Xbox players need to press Y, and PlayStation players need to press the Triangle button to initiate the digging process. As soon as the digging process ends, players will get the Lost Sea People Relic.

Now that you have the item you need to complete the contract, you have to sail to Palisade Bay to give it back. This location is close to Sainte-Anne. Players can use fast travel points to reach the destination, or they can start sailing towards the location. Palisade Bay is located northwest side of Sainte-Anne. Alternatively, you can look at the west side of The Giant’s Leap to locate Palisade Bay. Once you reach the location, interact with the settlement and the contract will be done. Once the contract is done, players are now ready to receive the rewards.

Rewards For Completing the Relics of the Past Contract

Relics of the Past Contract Rewards

Almost all the Skull and Bones contracts come with rewards and sometimes these are sometimes essential items that help players progress through the game. However, mostly these rewards contain cosmetic items, that will either give the players a unique look or their ship a different decoration.

Because this rule is the same for all the contracts, Relics of the Past is not an exception. Once players complete this contract, they will get a long list of rewards, including, 80 Silver, the Windswept Ship Cosmetic, two Sea People Tokens, the Boneforged Ship Cosmetic, the First Aid Station Major Furniture, and a Sea People Bottoms Case.

There are several cosmetic items you will receive through the contract. These items won’t give players any in-game advantage, but all these itmes will give their ship a unique look. With them, players can show off their progress.

That’s everything players need to do to complete the Relics of the Past contract in Skull and Bones. This contract is a bit tricky for sure, but it is not tough when the objective is clear. As an early-game contract, this one is enough tough to complete. However, remember, the sailing process encounters enemies that players need to defeat to complete their contract.
