Since Modern Warfare 3 Zombies launched, it has created a separate fanbase for being the most exciting mode of the MW3. Apart from doing multiple in-game activities, this mode comes with three acts of missions which are further divided into different tiers. These missions are the best way to understand the story and explore the map thoroughly. The objectives of these missions take you to different corners of the map where you have to complete unique activities to get exciting rewards. But sometimes these missions can be a bit confusing if you are unaware of where to visit. The final Extraction mission tasks players to bring her back for questioning. But before you reach the Act’s final mission, you must go through these missions.

What are the Objectives of the Nest Wrecker Mission in MW3 Zombies?

Before you start a mission, it is vital to know the tasks you need to do. Sometimes, the missions require you to bring things from your inventory. So, if you are not aware of the things you need, you can’t complete the mission. Therefore, before you start the Nest Wrecker mission, check out the below objectives:

Obtain a Gas Mask
Destroy an Aether Nest
Acquire Cyphered Tablet

Guide to Complete Nest Wrecker Mission in MW3 Zombies

If the objectives are looking simple, you are not wrong. These tasks are indeed simple, especially for a tier 5 mission. As players progress, they expect to have challenging missions, but somehow the developers make it different this time. The Nest Wrecker mission is one of the most straightforward missions, especially for veteran players. However, newcomers may require some help.

The first objective requires you to have a Gas Mask. There are several ways to get a Gas Mask. The first among them is to purchase it from a Buy Station. The Urzikstan map has multiple Buy Stations scattered throughout the map. Locate any of them and you can buy a Gas Mask 1000 Essence. The price is pretty high, but that’s the easiest option to have one. Also, this is the guaranteed way to have a Gas Mask.

If you are short on Essence, let me tell you about another way to have it. Go to any Mercenary Camp and clear it to find the Mercenary Stronghold key. Now, mark a random Mercenary Stronghold and travel to the location. These locations are full of merc enemies that players should kill. Sometimes Mercenaries drop Gas Mask upon death. But that’s only if you are lucky. Alternatively, you can search mercenary cache boxes for a gas mask, that’s also equally rare. In conclusion, if you are trying to have it through a search, either you must be lucky, or you have to waste lots of time in this search.

Once you get the Gas Mask, start the next task. Open the tac-map and locate an Aether Nest. These areas are enough dangerous to clear, so we recommend finding one in a low-threat zone. If you don’t, go to the medium zone, but not to the high-threat zone. That’ll be a lot more challenging.

Mark the Aether Nest location (for help you can check the map above) and travel to the location. You will see the Aether Nest is an infected place where you can’t enter without the Gas Mask. Wondering how to equip the Gas Mask? Don’t worry, as soon as you pick one up, the Gas Mask is already equipped.

No extra action is required. So, enter the Aether Nest and start destroying the cysts. An Aether Nest generally has four or five of them. Roam around the location and destroy each. For reference, you can check the below image. It will help you identify the cyst.

This process won’t be an easy one, as zombies will spawn to kill you. So, we recommend having an SMG or LMG for this mission. Once you destroy all the cysts, the Cyphered Tablet will spawn somewhere inside the Aether Nest. Look for it faster. It won’t be there forever. If you fail to find it, it will disappear after some time. As soon as you pick it up, the mission will end.

However, that’s not all, the next thing is to exfil safely with the tablet. So, mark the nearest exfil point and travel to it. Fight the waves of zombies and wait for the chopper to arrive. Board the helicopter and leave the session to complete the mission and get the rewards.

Act 1 Tier 5 Nest Wrecker Mission Rewards in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies
