How to Complete the Merc Cleanup Act 2 Tier 2 Mission in MW3 Zombies?
If you notice the objectives, you will see that these two objectives don’t need to be completed separately. Instead, both will be completed simultaneously. To begin with the process, you must locate a Merc Camp first. Though you can locate it anywhere on the map, it is better to start with a low-threat zone. Remember, one Merc Camp can be cleared once per match. So, if someone does this before you, you have to locate another one. Also, if you have been grinding through the game, you must be aware that Mercenary Camps are filled up with mercenaries and the cache box that you are asked to loot is located in the middle of the camp. These are AI enemies but it’s not wise to take them lightly. Some of them can be well-armored. If you are doing this mission in the low-threat zone, you can still try to complete it without a pack-a-punch weapon. But if you are planning to do it in the medium or high-threat zones, don’t try to go there without a pack-a-punch weapon. Basically, it is better to pack-a-punch your weapon, even if you are doing the mission in the low-threat zone. So, first, grind a little and collect enough essence to get your weapon a level 2 Pack-A-Punch. Next, find a Pack-A-Punch Machine in the medium threat zone to get the level 2 Pack-A-Punch. Now that you are ready for the mission, locate a Mercenary Camp and travel to the location.

Let me again remind you the Cache box will be somewhere middle of the camp and each camp will have one Merc Cache box. Therefore, you have to clear a minimum of three Camps. But that won’t be the case generally as you will easily get 20 kills even before you clear the third camp. These camps are full of merc and they will attack you like waves.
This mission can easily be completed without any squad, but having a squad is an additional advantage that will ensure your safety. If you get killed in this process, your efforts will be wasted. So, if you are a new player, it is recommended to bring at least one teammate. As soon as you reach 20 kills and loot 3 Cache Boxes, your mission will be done. You can now get your mission rewards.
