If you have been grinding MW3 Zombies for a long time, you are probably aware that mercenary convoys are not marked on the tac map. Once you get close to one, you will find the icon on the map. Not only that, these are randomly spawned things that no one can predict where to locate.

Mercenary Convoys include three or four mercenary full cars. Players need to stop them and then complete the objectives. But the question is still the same, where to locate them? Well, that is a problem for sure and we will talk about the solution, but before that, let’s get prepared for the fight.

Choose a powerful weapon as the convoy can be spotted in a higher-threat zone. In that case, having a Pack-A-Punch weapon will help you a lot. We recommend, using Assault Rifles and Sub-Machine Guns for the fight. Don’t go for shotguns as they won’t help you in the fight. Additionally, you can collect some grenades as well. Next, after you land on the map, find a vehicle. It will be best if your vehicle is well-armored. A well-armored vehicle is always the best option to roam around the map.

Once you are prepared with all the necessary items, you have to complete the trickiest part of the mission, finding a mercenary convoy. While no icon will spawn on the map and there won’t be any set location for the spawn, the best way is to roam around the map and look for them. One thing you can do is to visit the high road next to the Zaravan Suburbs. The mercenary convoy often passes through the road. If you are lucky, you may locate it, but that can’t be the case always. Additionally, one convoy can be cleared once. So, if someone else does it before you, you have to look for another one.

This process may take long, even a few matches to locate a mercenary convoy. But once you find one, shoot the cars to stop the convoy. The mercenaries will come out and start attacking you. Take them down. This process won’t be as simple as it sounds. Instead, these convoys will be located in an open area where players will get zombies attacking them simultaneously. So, you have to deal with both. If you sometimes find things going beyond control, use grenades to control the situation. Additionally, you can use the Nuke spawn on the location to kill a wave of enemies instantly. Clearing the convoy matters, so you can do that using any method that suits you best.

Once you take down the entire mercenary convoy, the first objective of the mission will be completed. For the second mission, you need to collect the Stronghold Keycard dropped by them. That won’t be difficult as the location of the keycard will be marked through a quest marker. Follow it and you will get the item to complete the mission.
