Modern Warfare 3 Zombies has presented players with loads of unique missions that require them to complete different but exciting activities. Some of these missions require you to use weapons and equipment that you probably have never thought of using during a regular game. Act 2 Tier 2 mission Guardian Angel is among them. So, if you have been looking for some help to know how to complete Guardian Angel mission in MW3 Zombies, trust me you are not the only one who got stuck.

This time Activision has modified things in a way that players must have completed all the missions sequentially to complete each Act and progress to the next. But the process to complete a mission is still the same: understanding the objectives. Therefore, before diving into the Guardian Angel mission, let’s check out the objectives you need to complete.

Guardian Angel Mission Objective

This season, the Zombies mode has brought objectives that force players to think before starting the missions. Some of these missions require them to equip items that can’t be found from the in-game loot pool. So, they must bring them before loading into a match. The Act 2 Tier 2 Guardian Angel mission is the same. But before going forward, check the below objective:

  • Heal Operators 20 times with Healing Aura Field Upgrade.

That’s the only task to complete, but this can give you a real hard time completing it if you are not aware of the process. So, don’t randomly accept this mission. Instead, go through the next section of this guide.

How to Get Healing Aura Field Upgrade and Complete the Mission?

If you are a veteran Call of Duty player, you must know that Field Upgrades must be equipped before you jump into a match. These items are not part of your in-game loot pool. Instead, you must level up your operator to unlock Field Upgrades. Therefore, if you are trying to complete the Guardian Angel mission, you must unlock and equip the Healing Aura Field Upgrade before you join a match.

Healing Aura Field Upgrade

Healing Aura can’t be found by default, but you must unlock it by leveling up your operator to level 19. If you are unsure of the effects of the Healing Aura Field Upgrade, let me tell you that this will help you revive the health of all the operators within a specific range, including yourself. That’s what you need to do in the Guardian Angel mission.

So, first, you equip the Field Upgrade and jump into the game. The objective requires you to use the Field Upgrade 20 times to heal operators. Don’t get confused in understanding your task. You don’t need to heal 20 operators but have to use the Healing Aura 20 times. Here the operator number doesn’t really matter. It’s just that you have to heal a few operators every time you activate Healing Aura.

Now, if you have your squad to play, jump into the mission together. But even if you are a solo player, you can heal yourself using the Field Upgrade, or find random operators to complete the mission. That’s indeed risky. If you approach a random player, there’s a huge risk of getting eliminated. So, better you get your own squad. Alternatively, you can join a random squad if you are a solo player. It is still better than trying to complete it with random enemy players as they can’t trust you with anything when you approach them.

Once your squad and field upgrade is ready, start the mission by charging the Field Upgrade. If you are not sure how to know whether the Field Upgrade is fully charged or not, let me tell you, check the yellow circle around the field upgrade icon in your bottom right corner. Once the yellow is full, your field upgrade is ready to be charged. Check the location of your teammates. They must be within a certain radius to get the field upgrade effect. Though Healing Aura has a decent radius, still it is better to stay close to your teammates when activating it.

Now, the question is if you or your teammates are not injured at all, will the field upgrade work? Well, yes. This mission doesn’t require you to heal wounded operators. As long as you activate the field upgrade, it will heal even the operators who have full health. But you have to recharge the Healing Aura every time after you activate it. So, it is better to choose exfil points to complete this mission.

These are the best locations to have hordes of zombies. Killing them will recharge your field upgrade faster. Once recharged, activate the equipment to progress through the mission. You need to do this at different exfil zones to reach your target. Repeat the process 20 times and your mission will be done. Once done, you will get rewards.

Rewards for Completing Guardian Angel Mission in MW3 Zombies

Epic Aether Tool Acquisition

Call of Duty missions never disappoint players with no rewards. Whenever you complete a mission, there must be something waiting for you. It can be anything. It can be a cosmetic item, a free perk, or something else. But there must be some rewards for sure. Similarly, the Guardian Angel mission will give you the below items if you complete it:

  • Epic Aether Tool Acquisition
  • 2000 XP

Both these rewards are equally attractive, but the most attractive one among them is still the Epic Aether Tool Acquisition. If you are trying to fight a challenging boss, nothing can help you more than an Epic weapon and Epic Aether Tool Acquisition will help you create higher-grade loadouts for these fights. Additionally, 2000 XP will give your operator rank a substantial boost and allow you to unlock high-level perks and equipment.

That’s all you need to know to complete the Guardian Angel mission in MW3 Zombies. This mission is primarily a squad mission, not because of its challenges, but because of its requirements. So, we recommend not to jump alone. Instead, turn on matchmaking to make a random squad if you don’t have friends available.
