Most of these missions have medium-threat activities to complete, but unless you know the exact process to progress through them, you will get confused about the tasks. The Act 2 Tier 5 missions are the best example of it. Completing a mission smoothly requires a proper strategy and prior preparations. Without a basic understanding of the tasks, players can’t do any of them. So, it is a must that you understand the objective of a mission before jumping into it. That’s even true for the Frost Bite mission. Below we have listed the objectives:

This mission has only two objectives which are relatively easy for a tier 5 mission. But if you are not aware of the exact process, you will struggle for sure.

Frost Bite Mission Complete Walkthrough- How to Complete?

Checking the objectives carefully will instantly make it clear that without the Frost Blast Field Upgrade, this mission can’t be done and as a veteran player, you must be aware that Field Upgrade can’t be acquired from the in-game loot pool. So, the only way to have them is to equip them from your inventory, before you jump into the game. This makes another thing clear you can’t randomly jump into this mission. You must start the preparation beforehand.

To begin with the mission, the first thing that you need to do is to open your inventory and check, whether the Frost Blast field Upgrade is unlocked or not. If it’s already unlocked, you must equip it and jump into the game. But if it’s not yet unlocked, you have to reach level 29 to unlock it and then start the mission.

Now that you have the Field Upgrade ready, you are probably aware of how it works. Once you activate this field upgrade, it will inflict Frost Damage on all the enemies within its range. That’s what you need to do in this mission. But first, you must charge it.

The charging process is the same as other field upgrades. You have to kill zombies to charge it. If you are unsure of how to understand whether it is charged or not, let me tell you the process. Once you equip it, it will show on the right bottom side of the screen. Initially, you will see, that it has no border around it, but as you kill zombies and the Field Upgrade recharges, a yellow border will appear. Once the border is fully circled, your equipment is ready to inflict damage.

We suggest, as soon as you start the mission, go to any exfil point, preferably in a low-tier zone. These locations have hordes of zombies to kill and freeze. So, mark an exfil location, travel there, call the helicopter, and the zombies will start attacking you. Kill a few of them until your field upgrade is charged. Next, you can complete the 50 zombies target, in one go. What you need to do is to roam around the location and let the zombies run behind you.

Once a wave is there, throw a Decoy Grenade to gather them to a place. As soon as they gather, activate the Field Upgrade and go into the horde. If you follow this process it won’t take more than two attempts to complete the target. Alternatively, you can do the same process in Aether Nest or Infested Stronghold.

Once you use it, the Frost Blast will run out of charge. Kill the zombies whom you have frozen a few seconds back to charge it and proceed to the next objective. It requires you to freeze 5 Mimic. Before you start, note one thing freezing a single Mimic five times will work. You don’t need to look for different Mimics to complete this objective. So, go to any medium threat zone Aether Nest or Infested Stronghold. In the medium threat zones, these locations spawn more than one Mimic which will help you complete the task faster.

As it starts chasing you, freeze it once and then run around the location killing other zombies to recharge the Frost Blast. Once it is recharged, again freeze the Mimic. The Mimic has a relatively large health pool that won’t go down easily with the frost damage the field upgrade inflicts. So, you can freeze the same Mimic quite a few times to progress through your objective.

Rewards For Completing the Frost Bite Mission in MW3 Zombies

You will hardly find a Modern Warfare 3 Zombies mission without any reward. All the missions you complete give you rewards, ranging from XP to cosmetic items to free mod acquisition. Similarly, the Frost Bite mission also has two rewards to offer:
