How to Get the Ammo Mod and Complete the Mission Faster?
If you carefully notice the mission objectives, you can’t miss the key condition of the mission: the Naplam Burst Ammo Mod. This ammo mod is required for both objectives, so the primary task is to get the ammo mod. There are a few ways to get Naplam Burst Ammo mod. Among them, the first is to check your inventory. So, hold on before you start the match. Open your inventory and check if you have received it as a reward for completing any other mission. If you have one, you can equip it and jump into the game.
If you don’t have one, then you have to look for it first after you land on the Urzikstan map. Ammo mods are especially found in the Aether Nests and Infested Strongholds. So, locate them and start clearing them. These locations have lots of chests that can give you ammo mods. However, the chance of having and not having it by this process is 50-50. Still, there’s no other way than finding one, if you haven’t acquired one previously.
Once you have the Naplam Burst Ammo mod ready, pick a weapon and equip the ammo mod to it. It can be any weapon of your choice and doesn’t need to be a Pack-A-Punch weapon. As your ammo mod is ready with the weapon, you can start the first objective.
Before that, let me tell you the name of the ammo mod already reveals how it works. If you shoot any enemy while equipping the Naplam Burst ammo mod, it will catch fire and that’s what you need to do in this mission. But one thing you must remember is that this ammo mod has a cooldown timer. Though the cooldown is only a few seconds, you must be aware of the cooldown and shoot enemies normally until the ammo mod is active again.

Igniting 50 zombies is the easiest thing the game can ask you to do. there are several methods to complete this task. The first one is to go to any exfil point. Locate an exfil point and once you reach the location, call for the helicopter. It will spawn hordes of zombies that you can ignite using the Naplam Burst ammo mod. It may not help you reach your target in one attempt but will reach a lot closer to the required number.
Actually, you don’t need to do these tasks separately. Hunting the Special Zombies will automatically let you kill tons of regular zombies. So, you can complete both objectives together in one place. But, the actual problem is to find the Special Zombies. They are rarely seen creatures and spawn as part of bounties or missions. However, this problem is not so vital. You can always find them in the tier 2 zones. So, we suggest Pack-A-Punch your ammo mod-equipped weapon to level 2 and make your way to the medium threat zone. Red zones are still better to avoid.
Now the best way to complete this objective is to find an Infested Stronghold in the orange zone. These strongholds have two Mimic and an occasion appearance of Mangler. All of them can be considered as Special Zombies. Also, these areas have numerous zombies. So we recommend running around an Infested Stronghold and igniting the zombies along with the special zombies.
In both cases, what you probably missed out that the objectives want you to ignite them. Killing them is not the aim. So, igniting a single enemy multiple times will contribute to your mission’s progress. You won’t probably get the chance to do it with the regular zombies, but will definitely work for the special ones. So, whenever you get a Special Zombies, you will see these creatures have a huge health bar. Instead of killing them in one go, ignite them multiple times until they die. Once you ignite it, wait for the effect to go, and again ignite it. This way you will probably complete the second objective with two special zombies. In that process try to complete the first objective as well.
What are the Rewards of the Firestarter Mission?
Like every other mission, players will get rewards for completing the Firestarter mission in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. This mission is comparatively easy to complete, but the rewards are equally interesting:
