How to Complete Bounty Hunter, Act 2 Tier 3 Mission in MW3 Zombies

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies has created a separate fanbase since this mode was introduced to the game. This is the first time in Call of Duty history that a Modern Warfare game got Zombies mode, but the combination is deadly as the developers have presented players with a bucket full of exciting activities. While simply exploring the Urzikstan map is enough thrilling, the missions heighten the thrill a little more. So, if you are looking for some help to know how to complete Bounty Hunter mission in MW3 Zombies, this guide will help you with all the necessary information.

As an Act 2 mission, this mission can’t be an easy one for sure. So, before jumping into it, let’s go through the mission objectives.

If you have been playing Modern Warfare 3 Zombies and have played Warzone 2 DMZ, one thing you can relate to for sure: the mission division. Like the DMZ mode, the Zombies mode has missions divided into Acts and tiers. However, the problem is objectives of these missions require some prior preparation to be completed. So, you can’t randomly jump into them, and understanding the objectives is the best way to prepare for a mission.

Though these objectives don’t seem challenging, still you can be puzzled if you are not sure of the actions.

How to Complete the Big Bounty Contracts in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies?

Now, if you concentrate on the objectives, you must have found that there is nothing called Big Bounty contracts on the map. Don’t worry, these are the simple contracts that you generally find marked on the map as Eliminate the Bounty. These contracts are scattered throughout the map and each of these contracts features a special zombie. So, you will find Disciple, Mimic, and Mangler through these contracts, but there’s a catch.

When you accept a bounty, you don’t know which special zombie will spawn unless you start the bounty and meet the enemy. The spawn of these enemies is random. So, there’s a higher possibility that you will get the same special zombie in back-to-back contracts. This essentially means that the completion of this mission is purely based on luck. If your luck favors you, you will get three of them in back-to-back three bounties. Otherwise, you must accept and complete bounties unless you get them.

After grinding for days, what we have found is that Mimic and Mangler can be found in any zone, but Disciples can’t be found in the low-threat zones. So, you must go to the orange or red zone to find a Disciple. As you can complete these objectives in any order, we recommend starting with the Mangler and Mimic. Go to the Disciple in the end. Of course, there’s a reason behind it.

To begin with the mission, we recommend bringing a weapon of Epic rarity and having a level 1 Pack-A-Punch on it. If you don’t have any Epic Rarity weapons, try acquiring one first. Now, if you are ready with the weapon, find a bounty in the low-threat zone and travel to the location to accept it. Now, look for the special zombie you encounter during this contract. It can be a mimic or a mangler. Kill it and one of the three objectives will be completed.

Proceed and accept another contract in the low-threat zone to check whether you get the same special zombie this time or a different one. If you get the same zombie, it won’t contribute to your mission progression, but you will gather some cash which you will require later. This way, accept and complete contracts unless you find the second special zombie you are looking for.

Now that you have killed both Mangler and Mimic, you must get prepared for your third and the next target- Disciple. We have already, mentioned that Disciples can’t be found in the low-threat zones, so you must go to the medium-threat zone. But, don’t randomly start a bounty there. Be prepared before doing that.

The first thing you should do is to find a Pack-A-Punch machine and get your weapon a level 2 Pack-A-Punch. If you don’t have enough essence, grind a little to collect enough. With a level 2 Pack-A-Punch weapon, it will be easier to deal with the level 2 zombies and the Disciple. The remaining process is the same. You must accept and complete bounties unless you find a Disciple. Note that Disciples roam around these zones randomly, but killing them won’t count.

Once you kill all three special zombies, you will get rewards for completing the mission.

Rewards For Completing the Bounty Hunter Mission in Act 2 Tier 5

Call of Duty missions without rewards can’t be imagined. From the very beginning, CoD games provide players with different rewards to help them progress further. Similarly, the MW3 Zombies also gives players a wide range of in-game items as mission rewards ranging from ammo mods to XP to cosmetic items, etc.

If you have completed the Bounty Hunter mission, you will get the following items as rewards:

Dead Wire ammo mod
2000 XP.

These two are the best rewards one can ask for. While XP can help you give a substantial boost to your level and unlock higher-level perks and equipment, the Dead Wire Ammo mod can help you shoot shock waves that will stun zombies while they take damage.
