Despite being one of the most popular video games of the year, Helldivers 2 has had its fair share of problems that have taken many shapes and forms throughout the months following its February 2024 launch. From weapon balancing issues that have been hindering the gameplay experience for plenty of players in recent times to Arrowhead Game Studios clearly running out of content to provide its fanbase, the problem range has been astonishing, to say the least.

However, there is a certain type of issue that the Helldivers are actually finding quite amusing: a hilarious bug that is just too funny to complain about.

The Enemies in Helldivers 2 Sometimes Start Bouncing All Across the Map

For those players wondering how the enemies in Helldivers 2 would look while bouncing, there is now visual footage.

Although the constant stream of issues that have been plaguing Helldivers 2 for quite some time now has proven to be the finish line for a lot of its player base, the latest bug that has started to pop up has turned out to be a source of humor for the fans.

Calling it “the most ridiculous bug” that has ever graced a video game, one member of the Arrowhead Game Studios fanbase shared some interesting footage on the title’s subreddit, showcasing an intense battle like it usually goes against Super Earth’s enemies. However, the gameplay footage has a glaring twist: all of the enemies keep bouncing all across the map like they have just gotten their hands on an intergalactic trampoline.

In fact, due to the new comical bug, members of the enemy forces keep getting absorbed into the ground and then jump right back up into the air as if nothing has happened. That would not have been the biggest problem if the Helldiver’s weapons were actually effective against their jumping state, but as shown in the footage, the equipped weapon does absolutely no damage, resulting in a laughable situation that players can’t do anything about aside from making fun of it.

Perhaps Arrowhead Game Studios Is Testing a New Modifier With the Jumping Enemies

Maybe the developer needs to take a close look at the potential environment condition modifier.

Helldivers 2 has a feature that allows the developers to add effects and modifiers to the game, which come in various forms such as environment and physical conditions, along with operation mods and boosters.

Different planets in Arrowhead Game Studios’ title are accompanied by their own unique modifiers, leading players to joke about how the developer might be testing out a bouncy one that is causing the enemies to jump around in this manner.

Making the most of the hysterical situation, some fans brought up Arrowhead’s balancing efforts that have had a less than ideal reception from the community since the game’s release.

During a period where Helldivers 2 needs as many hands on deck as possible, with players being quite vocal with their protests at this point, bugs like these may seem humorous at first but could definitely hurt the game’s already dwindling fanbase if they become a frequent occurrence.
