There are many factors that come into play when a title as highly anticipated as GTA 6 mostly keeps its finer details under wraps, as the fan expectation keeps growing with each passing day due to Rockstar Games’ secretive approach to its upcoming sequel.

Set to be a massive technical leap over its predecessor, which is now over a decade old, there are plenty of features that the Grand Theft Auto fanbase wants to see in the next installment, and it would not necessarily be the worst decision to borrow some elements from other open-world video games.

Naturally, the extremely long wait is leading the community to revisit some overlooked titles from the past, and although Ubisoft may not have hit the jackpot with its second Watch Dogs game, it included a feature that could add even more layers to Rockstar’s much-awaited entry.

In an Interesting Plot Twist, GTA 6 Fans Want Rockstar Games to Take Some Notes From Ubisoft

The streets of GTA 6 could be a lot more happening with a certain feature from Ubisoft's 2016 action-adventure title.

Around eight years ago, Ubisoft launched the sequel to its intriguing hit Watch Dogs, and while it was not the greatest video game in the developer’s long-running portfolio, the second installment did receive praise for a wide variety of memorable features that made the open world feel more alive.

One Watch Dogs 2 feature that is even standing out among the Grand Theft Auto community is when rival gangs used to run into each other randomly on the street, resulting in a fight breaking out between them, as it realistically would. Players could also instigate these fights and make other gangs join in as well, which made the Ubisoft title feel more immersive, with something always happening that kept it exciting.

Considering Jason and Lucia’s connections to the criminal world, there are bound to be various gangs plaguing the streets of Vice City in the upcoming GTA 6, and fans believe an evolved version of the mechanic already implemented in 2016 could heighten the overall experience.

The suspense of fights breaking out in the middle of a bustling nightclub or during any other activity in the State of Leonida could always keep things interesting, leading to unpredictable moments that add more life to the open world.

The Watch Dogs 2 Feature Could Use Some Modifications in the Upcoming Title

Not every gang encounter needs to start with guns.
Not every gang encounter needs to start with guns.

While the gang encounters in Watch Dogs 2 did not really take their time to escalate and just got straight to the point with both sides opening fire, Grand Theft Auto fans want Rockstar Games to switch things up a bit to make it feel like a more natural addition to GTA 6.

Which means that the gang fights in the upcoming title could start off slow, with melee attacks such as punches, kicks, knives, shivs, and so on taking center stage, until the situation gets a little more heated, leading to the weapons finally coming out in the brawl’s later phase.

With hopefully just over a year to go before Grand Theft Auto gets its next chapter, the fanbase thinks that perhaps Watch Dogs 2 was treated too harshly, feeling that there are a lot of features in Ubisoft’s game that could work marvellously in GTA 6.

Knowing Rockstar’s track record, there really is not any doubt that GTA 6 will include plenty of great features for its player base, but with community expectations through the roof, it may be difficult for the developer to meet all of them.
