Gears of War: E-Day is all set to bring a bit of lore and a lot of action to The Coalition’s popular franchise on Xbox and PC. While many players are eager to see where Kait Diaz’s adventures take her in a sequel to 2019’s Gears 5, the upcoming title looks back at the origins of the Locust Horde and its influence on Sera in the prequel.
Considering that Diaz is on a mission to find more information on the Locust Horde and the Swarm even as she searches for her mother Reyna, E-Day’s choice to focus on past events can make a lot of sense from a narrative standpoint.
