Fortnite has been going through a tough time. Since the game was released in 2017, it has encountered massive popularity for its unique gameplay. However, another thing that Fortnite has always been famous for is the outfits and cosmetics. Players generally love to flaunt the skins and backblings the game offers. But recently, the scenario has gone through a rapid change after Epic Games made a shocking decision.

Season Pass, or Battle Pass, is one of the most common parts of shooter games and battle royales like Call of Duty and Fortnite. These must be purchased, and in exchange, these passes not only offer in-game currencies but also give exclusive cosmetic items. However, Epic Games recently revised this policy.

The Latest Fortnite Battle Pass Policy Has Abolished the Exclusiveness of Skins

Since Epic Games’ new Fortnite Battle Pass policy was announced, fans have been upset about it losing its exclusivity.

Fortnite players are well aware of the Battle Passes they receive every season. While every new season Battle Pass costs 950 V-Bucks, the entire pass is full of impressive outfits, weapon wraps, backblings, pickaxes, instruments, loading screens, etc. These items used to be exclusive to Battle Pass owners and have never been available in the Item Shop.

This used to be the case until now, but a recent announcement has changed everything. Epic Games stated that Battle Pass items will not be exclusive to Battle Pass owners. After 18 months of the Battle Pass expiration, these items will be added to the Item Shop for everyone to purchase.

Well, it has been confirmed that not all the Battle Pass items will come to the Item Shop, but only the eligible items will be available for purchase. Epic Games has not stated the eligibility criteria, but it’s confirmed that every type of item from the Battle Pass, if eligible, will be available for purchase in the Item Shop.

Well, there’s a catch, outfits will come in different variants and will be added randomly. Though Epic Games didn’t mention it as a big change, Fortnite players are not at all happy with this announcement.

Fortnite Players Bring Crew Pack Reference to Remind Epic Games Something Important

Fortnite Crew Packs are an exclusive subscription service that players want to follow the same path as Battle Pass items.

Aside from the Battle Pass, Fortnite has several other ways to acquire exclusive cosmetic items. Among them, one of the most popular is the Fortnite Crew Pack. Fortnite Crew Packs need to be subscribed to using real money.

Players need to purchase a monthly subscription to the Crew Pack for $11.99. Every month, this subscription must be renewed to get exclusive items from the Crew Pack.

When subscribed, the Crew Pack offers a lot of exciting items, including in-game currencies and cosmetic items. These are also exclusive items that have never been accessible to players without a subscription. After this decision, players want to attract Epic Games’ attention to the Crew Pack as well.

Some of them are so frustrated that they mentioned that they want the game to become good again.

Well, whether this decision will work in the future or not is still unsure, with players sharing mixed opinions on it.
